It's been a while since we've been to Bermuda. What beaches/activities do you recommend for kids - 2,4,13?

We took the public ferry (it leaves right next to the cruise dock and is about a 20 minute ride) to St George's Island to do Tobacco Bay beach. It's very sheltered so the water is shallow and calm and good for kids, though the water was quite cold when we went in October. We had an overnight in Bermuda on our cruise, so we did the National Museum of Bermuda on our second day, which is right next to the cruise port. The museum is part of a fort and the old Governor's house, and there is a nice big playground for kids, and they have dolphins right inside of the fort for a dolphin swim/experience. We didn't do that, but we spent some time watching them feeding/training the dolphins. It's an easy port to do on your own if you don't want to book excursions.

there is news on Bermuda today. Not sure of the start dates, but they are no longer accepting the recovery letter anymore and you must have a booster to be fully vaccinated. Here’s a page from the article I just saw. It‘s in regard to carnival. Not sure how or if it affect DCL or if it will. Something to watch.

Yes, thanks, I saw that on the Bermuda site earlier. Trying to stay on top of it all!

Thanks, will check Tobacco Bay (I don't think we've been there). We're going early October and hoping the water is warm enough. The kids won't care though. We don't plan to book any excursions.

The National Museum of Bermuda is my #1 recommendation for an easy, close to the ship option with kids. We traded back and forth letting the grownups go look at the exhibits while the kids played in the kids area.
