Bermuda updating their requirements again (Effective Aug 22nd)

I have been going back and forth on to weather to book a 5 night from New York. The way I see everything is if your fully vaccinated. The supervised test that you will take 2 days prior to boarding the ship is all you need for Bermuda.

The language @Kwami posted says "(fully vaccinated travelers can take a PCR test up to 4 days before embarkation)."

It says the same here: https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation
Correct. Or, a supervised antigen test 2 days before embarkation, just like Disney requires.

If you're on the transatlantic cruise, then you'll need to test again on the ship. If you're leaving from NYC, then you don't need to do any extra tests.

I'm still confused about this point below which came from 1st post in this thread:

- Unvaccinated children 11 and under enter Bermuda with a vaccinated or unvaccinated parent or guardian. Those children will be assessed on the vaccination status of the parent and guardian travelling with them.

If I go to the following site - https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation - I do not see this specific line. I just want to make sure that if you have unvaccinated children (2,4) they can get into Bermuda on their parent's status. And...they do not need health insurance. (Is there a link for this?)

It's there -- under "To receive an approved Travel Authorization you will need" and #3:

Note: Unvaccinated children 11 years and under travelling with fully vaccinated parents/guardians can upload their guardian’s vaccination certificate instead of proof of travel health insurance.

And this is the first line of the table, showing the unvaccinated kids follow the same rules at the vaccinated parent:

Okay...I'm a stickler for words - and mine specifically says to "enter Bermuda". That says "instead of proof of travel health insurance". Just making sure we're good to go. With all the headaches this cruise has been, it better be awesome!! o_O Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't snip the section header. Everything I showed above comes from this same section and therefore pertains to entry to Bermuda - complete with effective date:

Bermuda changed the wording so the exact sentence you questioned no longer exists. However, combine the 2 parts of information that I shared above and arrive at that same point - unvaccinated children age 11 or younger travel with the same rules as their fully-vaccinated parent(s).

Summary: The current information as it relates to children 11 or younger:
- valid Travel Authorization, which costs $40
- no need to show insurance if traveling with a fully-vaccinated parent, instead show that parent's vaccination record
- follow the same testing protocols as the fully-vaccinated parent, which is an antigen test 2 days prior to embarkation (for cruises arriving in Bermuda within 4 days of embarkation)
