Benefits of making PS at LTT before MNSSHP......

Hi all - could someone tell me about doing this, how and why? When can we make these PS (we already have tickets to the MNSSHP)? And which is better - the LTT or CP - there will be a 5 yr. old and 7 yr. old there also. Thanks

We've eaten at both LTT and CP before parties. They are both great restaurants. I prefer the food at CP, but the characters at LTT dress in costumes for Halloween parties.

For the last few years they have let you book LTT when purchasing party tickets and you can book CP, the Castle and Tony's at 90 days out.

How? Just call Disney to book it.

Why? Because you want to eat before the party and be in the park I guess. You can also just do counter service and not eat in a restaurant or you can eat at a monorail resort and then head to the party...they let party goers in AFTER 4:00p with just their party tickets and/or PS number.

If you head to MK before the party starts and you do not book a PS, then they will make you go to Tomorrowland between 6:00p and 7:00p while they clear out the rest of the park UNLESS you are eating in one of the restaurants.

I usually make my PS between 5:00 and 6:00 so that I'm done when the party begins (no herding). Some book their PS earlier like at 4:00p so that they are done by 5:30 and have that time to ride rides before the official start of the party.

You can make the ressies now. Call dining and tell them you have party tickets. They will need to pull up a certain screen to book it this early but it can be done.

Like I said, I prefer CP's food but LTT has the character's in costumes for the party so I'd do either (and I have) but this year I chose LTT for the costumes!

If it were the MVMCP, I'd choose CP!

I like LTT with the kids. I don't need to keep jumping up and down a thousand times. They serve the food family style and will replenish any item that you run out of. It is much more relaxing for me!

We prefer LTT. Characters seem to make it around more often and we think the food is much, much better than CP.

There is an intangible at play here too. LTT just puts you in the right mood!!! The characters are dressed up, the waiters and waitresses have face make-up and it is sooo close to where you can have your picture made, ride the haunted riverboat, go on the HM ride AND have a great viewing spot for the parade.

There is just something special about Liberty Square at Halloween!!!
