Thanks, Chelle! Another friend suggested Category 2, sections 203-205 as good buys. I need to go look at the seating charts. Kathrin and I have wanted to see this for years!

I was told that Category 2 is good and that you don't want to be to close to the front or you'll miss some of the action and you don't want to be dead center, but off to the right or left a little for the best view.

here's a link to the seating chart hope this helps :goodvibes

It does! thanks, Chelle!

Chelle, hang in there.

I drank for fun before they showed up. ;)

And I guess to make up for X's unwillingness to order anything, the nephew ordered two of the most expensive items on the entire menu. It's a rather unattractive habit of his ... when someone else is footing the bill he goes all out.

Oh that just bugs the crap out of me. If someone else foots the bill for me, I always make sure to order something that is not the most expensive item. If anything, I tend to order close to the cheapest items. My mom raised me to feel guilty about taking advantage of the generosity of others.

I have no problems ordering expensive if I foot the bill, though. But then, you probably already know that.

OK, friendies... I need pointers for La Nouba. Kathrin and I are the only members of our family to ever want to see it and I just realized that we have an open night before Bob and Kristin get to WDW! And there are tickets available all over the venue. HELP!!! I don't want to break the bank, but I want decent seats!

I looked at the seating chart, and we were in section 206, down at the bottom where there are only four seats across, right across the aisle from the Category 1 seats. We were three rows up from the center aisle where some of the performers come through during their acts and they were excellent seats!

When you log on to buy tickets, you can keep watching which two they give you by row and by section. I kept watching the 205 section in Cat. 2 and they were up toward the top for a couple of days and then the next time I tried, they offered seats in the bottom of the 206 section, so evidently they fill one section at a time all the way to the top, not closest to the stage in all sections all the way across. Does that make sense?

You will love this show!!!!:3dglasses

Ok, you know you are tired when you open the wine bottle, put a stopper in it and return it to the refrigerator.

You realize this when you look at your empty glass on the counter. :sad2:

Glass is now full of Biltmore House Century. :teeth:

Pumpkin Beer? check

Tomatoes roasted with goat cheese? check

Other not so tasty snacks? check

Hocus Pocus? check

I super love Halloween.:cloud9:

Ahh, good wine and reading trip reports. I have needed this all week!

Here's an amusing vent about X & Y ...

I may have mentioned here that Jay and I told them we were going to treat them to dinner at a signature restaurant before they left for home. They didn't want to provide any suggestions but wanted Jay and me to choose a place for them and make it a surprise.

:headache:

X doesn't like seafood. X doesn't like sushi. X doesn't like meat. X doesn't like much of anything.

So after much gnashing of teeth and agonized hair pulling, I made an ADR for CA Grill thinking that even the pickiest of the picky would be able to find something to eat and enjoy there.

So we took them. And we got a lovely table next to the window directly overlooking the Magic Kinngdom - it was beautiful. And the food was terrific ... much better than last year so I don't regret going there.

But do you want to know what X ordered???

...

...

...

Go on ... hazard a guess; I dare you.

...

...

...

X ordered a California Roll for dinner and nothing else. Wouldn't even eat the three-cheese flatbread we ordered for everyone to share.

:headache::headache::headache::headache:

If I had known that someone had suddenly decided to eat fishies we would have taken them to Bluezoo or Flying Fish.

I've learned my lesson:

NEVER TRAVEL WITH FAMILY EVER AGAIN!!!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

did they even talk or anything????

Next time adopt us... we'll make you laugh... :)

Y'all are the BEST! Thanks for all the love & support  I usually try to the the strong/silent hold it together for everyone else type, but this morning I just needed to explode. I am very blessed to have such amazing Friendies :worship:

btw, did you all see the announcement/unveiling of the Disney Dream? I've got a link in my blog & on my FB. It's pretty darn cool and the water coaster looks AWESOME!!!

Yeah... beautiful ship... but the $400 NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE deposit has me saying I'll wait 6 months... besides... I want to make sure they work out all the kinks before first sail... like... do all the blenders work for my fruity boozy drinks... :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I drank for fun before they showed up. ;)

At least they can't blame themselves for all of it... :rolleyes1

Michelle: Thank you for those wonderful tips on WW. You mentioned something called HRT (*?). What is that exactly? I'm also curious - when you had reached goal weight and maintained it for a year or more, did the intense hunger pangs go away for you? They didn't for me and it started to be a big problem because I was taking stuff like Tylenol 3 to try and dull the feelings. I mean, there's only so many bags of carrots and cauliflower you can eat. One of the best foods I found against the shakes is shrimp. It has the highest level of protein as compared to the lowest level of fat - so you can have a lot of it. I made it last nightand served it over spaghetti squash.

BTW, did anyone manage to get the Blood Orange Margarita recipe from the Mexican pavilian at Epcot?

Anyone else going to the MJ movie "This is It?" I have tickets for tomorrow night.

HRT is hormone replacement therapy... I had my Dr. put me on a VERY low dose of them because I was going crazy with perimenopause... our of 35 symptoms of menopause... I had 30... :headache: :headache:(including the mood swings...:lmao:)

This time on WW I'm not having the problems I did last time...

You measure, but I really don't "weigh" as much... which makes it easier... and there are snacks out there that were NEVER out there before...

I had that gnawing hunger during the second and 3rd week... but it has passed and I'm doing ok... I still get a bit hungry but I just get some 1 and 2 point snacks that I can have and it works...

If you want... I'll be your :cheer2: :cheer2:

1'st month and it's 7 lbs...

Tatania ... we weren't smart enough to ask for any recipes at the Ditch. :headache:

As for X&Y ... I'm not going to mention them much in my reviews because it's just better that way. We didn't share that many meals with them anyway.

Jay and I spent more time with DIS-friends than we did with them. That's how they seemed to prefer it so we weren't going to push the issue ... and we were having too much fun anyway.

Aren't you glad you won't be taking a 2 week cruise with them??? SOMEONE wasn't gonna make it to CC... :rolleyes1

I have been slipping a little something into my morning coffee ... doesn't seem to be helping much. I'm tired of coughing ... my back and my stomach muscles hurt from all the hacking and I can't sleep very well. At least it's been an easy week for me at work - although by posting that I'm sure I just jinxed myself. :rotfl2:

They say that booking seats in the front of the second tier is best... not too close to get involved with things or to see too much of the mechanics... go for center seats also... Its a good show... :goodvibes

Bendy...

Have Jay rub your chest with Vicks...

not that it's gonna help... but maybe ONE of you will get something out of it... :rolleyes1)

Found it without your pimpy pimpage. Neener neener neener.

It's not my fault that I've been barred from all the fun internet sites while I'm at work.

Besides ... some day I'm going to leave the boards and you guys will have to find the best food porn without my help. :rotfl2:
