Um, there is a man on the Today show who is pairing wine with Captain Crunch....I'm not sure if I think he's weird or if I love him.

Did he have a wine pairing for Fruit Loops?

I figured that you must be pretty close. I'm in Davie which is off 595 just east of Weston and west of Ft.Lauderdale. 3 1/2 hrs south of WDW.

Darn it...I missed saying goodbye to so many people! Stupid real life interfering again! Well, for those who haven't left yet, have a safe trip and have fun!

Glad to see Gin, Briarmom and Jamie all got home safe!

Murphy's law is hard at work in my house.....just when I am finally seeing the light at the end of my price list tunnel....I get home and put a load into the wash....and the washing machine breaks! But after much checking of troubleshooting videos and articles (thank god for the internets!), I think it's fortunately a pretty quick and cheap fix. But of course I still had a load of soaking wet wash on my hands......let me tell you, it's not easy to wring dry 4 pairs of jeans! Not to mention I've had the dryer running for two hours, and there are still wet clothes in there!

It's freezing and rainy here tonight, and after my washing and drying escapades, I think I deserve a nice hot chocolate....with a little Bailey's and Kahlua thrown in, of course!

Actually no, we get in mid day and plan on drinking Bloody Mary's at Fulton's then cocktails at BelleVue lounge followed by dinner and wine at Flying Fish then more booze at the party....

So you're the one that Bendy's gonna lick the windows while your eating??? Be careful... I hear she can drool more than a hungry dog...

Well, I missed saying 'bye to Brenda; we didn't get back from Gatlinburg until this afternoon. I hope everyone else that's leaving soon has a wonderful trip!

Briarmom, I saw that wine guy on the Today show this morning and thought it was a hoot! He was pairing some reisling with the CC and it made me really want to try it!

My mom used to pick up the washer (full of water) and just let it drop on the floor... worked every time... but that was way back when the original Maytag guy was around...

Driving up Friday morning just for 2 days and then back again Thursday 10/22 for 4 days. I promised myself only one trip during F&W fest this year but my name keeps showing up on these dang dinner reservations.
