Bendy & Her Friendies V2 ... This Bar Never Closes! New Thread Started!

I'm so annoyed at the Disney reservations system right now. I thought it'd be great that it would be open 24/7, since I'm a night owl, and when I do the majority of my trip planning the offices are always closed so I can't call in.

All I want is GF Cafe for lunch. That place is never busy, but the computer is saying it's full except for 10:30 AM, which I'm thinking would be a breakfast ADR. There is no way it's full a month out.

I'm thinking right now I'll just take my chances of a walk up, and if it is in fact full, which I highly doubt, I'll just go to the Poly and eat at Captain Cook's or something.

I can't believe I'm up at this hour of the morning to book ADR's, but my Christmas ressies are done now! :santa: :woohoo: This online booking is almost way too easy that its scary. Now in a couple more hours I'll be calling up for my CP package and then I'm all set. At that point I'm going to collapse into a coma since I have not seen my bed yet for the night/morning. :sad2:

I can't believe that I'm awake either...

Is the sun up yet??? :sad2:

That'll be me on Sunday morning. I am glad to hear that the early morning changeover still seems to be happening. And congrats on getting everything!

So work has unblocked DIS (yay!!) but pictures don't load because they still have all the file-sharing sites blocked (boo!). I can atleast read the responses now, but I'll still have to wait 'till I'm at home to see anyone's food porn pics...

Speaking of food porn, I found this photo gallery through foodnetworkhumor.com (good snarky site):

WARNING: Do not view on an empty stomach! :thumbsup2

I had never heard of the Big E (Eastern States Expedition), but I might have to make a trip up there one of these years.
Have any of the NE friendies been?

the BIG E!! YES!!! I have most certainly been..its about an hour and half from my house..but so worth it!! Sadly the last time I went was probably back in 2004 or something!! I need to get with it...especially now that i am so food entranced ;)

:rotfl: You too? I've come to the conclusion that unless I'm actually getting up or staying up in preparation to catch a flight...this is not an hour for any human being to be awake.

I was done in 20 minutes-very very very easy and quick. The only reason it took me that long is that I was booking us wall to wall with breakfasts or early lunches and dinners each day for the first 10 days of the trip. The system did give me some crap with one of The Wave ressies and it just wouldn't do it. For some reason it let me book dinner, but not breakfast there a few days later (kept giving me an error saying my last name didn't match the reservation). I rectified that when I called up for my CP package.

Congrats on getting everything you wanted Alison! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Get some rest!!!!

Thanks! I think I slipped into a coma around 7:30am when I hung up with Disney. Got our Whoopi Goldberg CP package, so the kids and Fred will be happy about that.

So I just spent a good hour browsing the Food Network humor site. :rotfl: As if I really needed another blog to add to my list.

Ok... Prayers and Pixie dust please...

I just got a call from Michael... my sig other... :rolleyes1

I couldn't get in touch with him for the last week... figured he was busy at work or traveling...

HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!

They had to put in a heart stent...

He didn't want to tell me... :headache: Didn't want me to worry...

You know... if he wasn't already half dead... I'd kill him!!!! :upsidedow

Michelle, I hope he's feeling better soon!

I have good days and bad days, thanks for asking. This morning was bad and then by early afternoon it was OK again. I go to the GI's office on Friday morning to start the whole dance again ... it goes something like this:

"So what's going on?"

"Well, after spending the last twelve months dealing with Interstitial Cystitis, Sciatica, and Shingles while gaining twenty pounds in the process, the goblin seems to have awoken and is he ever cranky."

"Hmmm,, we'd better run the battery of tests again to see what's going on. You know the next step would be moving you to steroids."

"Yeah, but I'm really opposed to steroids; I like the simplicity of Jay being a man and me being a woman. I'm very concerned that if I start taking prednisone Jay will start calling me sir."

:rotfl2:

Actually I may ask him to run me on a course of antibiotics ... I have a lot of pain on the left side / lower abdomen this time which isn't typical of Crohns (it's usually on the right side) so I suspect that there may be some diverticulitis at play here. And I don't have time for a Colonoscopy, CT Scan, Small Bowel Series, and Endoscopy in the next four weeks unless it's an emergency. Since it's not, I'm hedging my bets and clenching my butt cheeks. :lmao:

Was that TMI?

Hope you get back into fighting form for F&W!

I'm behind on the boards- 10 hours of training today. :faint: We're attempting to fit it all in before I go away so, I'm working everyday until it's WDW time. So far I have everyone utterly impressed with my charming nature, cunning wit, hygiene, job skills, and overall awesomeness. It won't really be a pain to keep working up to vacation.:goodvibes

Besides- Mama needs pesos to burn at the Tequila Ditch.

Glad you're having a good first week Laura....even if it has been long days!

And congrats to all those who have gotten their ADRs!

Brenda, I hope your 'dance' with the doctor went okay this morning and he was able to calm things down. Did he help with the quick step or the shuffle?

We'll be up for bluezoo and then the next weekend after so no opening weekend for us this year. We will however still be doing the Foodie Thing at a Wine Dinner here on our stretch of the beach. I really hope to 'remember' to take pictures!!!! because Marcel won't be there to take them for me.
