Bench seating for fireworks

Is there still priority (or whatever it is called this week) seating for fireworks if you buy a tour or something?

I am going the end of September w/ my mom and I don't want to ask her to sit on the ground to save a seat and then stand for the show ...

Not to my knowledge. I've only heard that seating being used for "other" purposes.

I believe that you can get saved seating for the fireworks if you purchase the VIP tour.

I am not sure about the other holiday type of tours??? I think they offer saved seating for the parade if you take the holiday tour.

Hopefully someone else can add to this.....

We had reserved seating for the parade when we did the Holiday Tour last year, but not for the fireworks. I would be willing to pay almost anything for that!

I was wondering if we ate at the Plaza Inn if we could watch the fireworks from there?
Has anyone done that?
I imagine it would depend on the length of the line, you'd have to check that to try to time it just right.

I swear there was a group of people (like 30) who were able to sit on the benches that the castmembers had roped off. I was sitting on a bench in front of them, but I was there for 4 hours! (First week of Screams & TOTALLY worth it!) I just didn't want to sit for that long again ...

you could always watch from Small World. You can grab a chair and sit, or sit on the steps.

There is an area in the Hub during fireworks that fits about 30 people that is reserved.

This is Disney's area to use as needed. As was once explained to me, it's "house seats" similar to those at a theatre or a ball park. It is the only spots that Disney management has to use for whatever purposes they need on that particular day.
