Belly dancing

Does Marrakesh have belly dancing at lunch too?

In Oct. 09, we had a 12:15pm ADR. The music started about 12:30 and the belly dancing started around 12:45pm if I remember correctly. There were only a few tables other than our own with diners and it was wonderful. Not sure why it wasn't more crowded, except it was a weekday durin g the last week of October - a typically slow time I understand.

The food was absolutely delicious and I must have had about 6 glasses of the mint iced tea - also very good. I encourage you to try some appetizers in addition to the entrees, and dessert - I liked the mint ice cream. Service was very personal and outstanding. We will definitely return again.

That's a big help. Our current ADR is at 11:30, so I will try to move it a bit later to make sure we don't miss the dancing. I will also make sure we try the tea (I heard we should ask them how to hold it or something too). We are on the deluxe plan, so we'll be having appetizers and dessert as well. In December, we ate at the CS version of this and enjoyed it, but really want to experience the dancing.

When we were there, if you pull out a camera, the belly dancer comes to the tables and does great poses. Kids, and sometimes adults, are invited onto the floor to belly dance too. DS4 was too shy, but there were an older brother and sister from another table who belly danced, they really enjoyed it!

We just changed our ADR to 12:20 to ensure we don't miss the dancing. I called and they say there is dancing at 12:50, 1:50, and I didn't hear the rest since we're going for lunch....

I hope our kids will try the dancing. Too fun!
