Thursday Nov 3rd, Day 13
So here we go again. We are all wrecked from the last fast paced few days, so we dod not get up until 9.15am. Up, dressed and to Ponderosa at top of I-Drive by 10.15am. $23 for us all. You can not beat that for value. I think we all agreed though that next time will give it a miss. So fed and watered we head over to Universal again. This time we are parked in King Kong. we are in IOA by 11am. Its a lot busier today. There is already a 40min wait for Hulk, so we decide to go on to toontown and do Popeyes. This is another ride that was shut for rehab in 03 so lookng forward to it. I had forgotten how wet...no...soaked you get on this!!
Dudleys was shut for rehab this time so as we were all wet we thought we would do Jurassic River Adventure. The line said 15 mins which isnt too bad. Well.... 45 mins later we finally got on the ride. The longest queue so far. We have been quite spoilt though ,so musnt grumble. Last time we did ice on DD so this time we stood in line for Fire. The line was about 20 mins and when we had done it we all thought that Ice is slightly better. Feeling a bit peckish we wander back over to Marvel Land. John and the girls now do Hulk which is a walk on and I go and buy John a fantastic Four comic for Xmas.. We then do Spiderman for the last time this holiday. we go for lunch at a pizza place just by Hulk. The pizza here was fantastic and was huge. It ws only $16 for an 8 piece pizza and very tasty, this kept us going until tonight.
Now scoot over to US and do Jimmy Neutron again and The Mummy. This was all we wnated to do. We shopped for some xmas pressies. Got Georgia a spongebob towel and aAex a Betty Boop one. Its is now 5.30pm so we go for another quick coffee in Starbucks and then head to DTD for a browse until our PS at Boma at 7.30pm.
Boma was very pleasant and the food was great. Some of it a little unusual but good quality. I had read some reviews that it was noisy but we did not find this. Our server was very attentive and the deserts were to die for. Zebra domes, yum yum. We got back to the hotel for 9ish and the girls went swimming with John. I soaked my poor feet in really hot water and looked forward to our day at MGM and Breakfast at the Crystal palace.
