i am currently booked at OKW but may be able to switch to AKV and waitlist BLT.

We fly in the morning that we have MNSSHP tickets. Of course I am hoping to be able to get into the room BEFORE we leave for the party but I am going to assume we will get into the room AFTER the party.

We should arrive at the resort by noon and will leave our carryons with bell services and explain to the front desk that we wont be back until almost 2am. I pray the magic bands work to get into the room at 2am....do you see any problems with that?

My concern is, at whichever resort we end up at, will someone be at bell services to get our luggage? We are going to go directly to Bell Services to grab our own Carryons, but will someone be there? Or should we go directly to the room and call to have Bell Services deliver our carryons?

Bell service has someone there 24 hours. I think I'd stop by and pick up the bags. And with the MBs my experience is slightly better than 50% of the time that they will work, however many have no issues. And if you do have problems someone will be at the front desk to either fix the bands or to at least get you into the room for the night.

I expect that 99.9% work fine so you'll be okay. Just have everyone key their MBs to do the door before they enter. That way the MBs will work around the resort and a gated pool if your resort has one.

If you do not get into the room before you leave for the party I think I would have someone stay in the lobby with a magic band while someone else goes with one to the room and tries their magic band. A cell phone call to someone in the lobby at 2 AM is better than someone going back to the front desk.
