We will be arriving on DME at about 8:30 in the evening for only one night at ASM before moving to BCV for the week. I am wondering about the logistics of this move. I would like to have our bags held overnight and delivered to BCV so we only have to deal with our carryons for the one night. Is there a bell services desk at ASM? I know there is at the deluxe resorts but I haven't stayed here before. It seems like a waste to have our bags delivered that night and then have to drag them back down in the morning and have them delivered to another resort.

Yes they have luggage service at ASM wether it is music or movies.

The DME bags will come to your room automaticaly. It might be a little wierd because of only staying a night but the night before your departure you will recieve a packet about leaving on DME and it asks if you want you bags picked up. But since you won't be going back to MCO this may not happen.

I would guess that the only way to have your bags go to the luggage service and not your room is to not use the DME luggage tags and pick them up at MCO put them on the DME bus and then take them to the luggage service spot. Otherwise they will go to your room.

To get them from ASM to BCV may be another problem as far as I know you made need to take them on a taxi or the Disney Resort Transport.

Can't I request our luggage be moved to another resort? I thought they would take them over for us. I guess I will ask at check in. I was just wondering if there was a bell service desk in the lobby.
