DW & I were at WDW this year from 5/25 till 6/7 and wish to thank two very special people.
The first thankyou goes to Jane from Gift's of a Lifetime. I contacted Jane in late March or early April to inquire about her taking pictures of the surprise re-hitch ceremony I had planned behind my DW's back. Through a couple of E-mails and phone calls we got the logistics all worked out.
On Monday 5/26 I arrived at the Garden Grill in The Land at Epcot at 3PM for the Ice Cream Social PS I had scheduled. I said to Brenda [DW] why don't you go sit in the waiting area while I check us in. Mind reader that she is she looks at me and says "What is going on Phil". Well I manage to get checked in at the desk and make eye contact with Jane without giving the surprise away. We are led to a table and Jane sneaks a picture of DW but I quess Jane is just not sneaky enough. DW says to me on the way to our table "Why did that woman take my picture and why is she following us." I manage to get us to the table before I let Brenda know what is happening and introduce her to Jane.
Jane spent the next 30 to 40 minutes taking pictures of us, the CM's, the characters, and the Re-hitch ceremony from every conceivable angle.
Thank you Jane for the wonderful memories you captured that day for us.
My second thankyou is for Kathrine at Le Cellier restaurant at Canada in the World Showcase.
We were introduced to you when we were seated about 5PM on Thursday 5/29. You managed to get our names off of our Guest of Honor badges without making it obvious that was what you did. You greeted us as if we were family and friends. You made a pleasant experience exceptional and unforgetable.
And now the apology.
This is also for Kathrine. I gave you a special pin from Founder's Legacy [What Would Walt Do] that evening and told you that you would be honored on thier web site in a few weeks. Well I thought I had filed my report regarding you about 6/15. Today I discovered that I failed to complete that report so it never got posted. I have corrected that error today and offer you my most abject apologies for this delay.
