Both DH and myself are of German heritage and can't wait to go to German WS Epcot. The kids can't wait to go either.
Other than dining at Beirgarten (not sure yet), what else is there to do/see in Germany?

3 weeks left!!!!! :cool1:

Shopping, and looking at the garden size railroad to the right of the pavilion. Oh, and drinking (beer cart in courtyard).

My DH is of German decent also.

On our first trip, he purchased a small glass of wine and got to keep the glass. It was a little bigger than a shot glass. It has a sun on it :sunny:

Not sure if they still do that!

:tink:

The shops in the German pavilion are some of the best in World Showcase.

If you enjoy wine, the wine-tasting bar is cool. As is the christmas pickle tree. ;)

Incredible steins, a great toy shop, athletic gear and other cool stuff.

It's a great atmosphere there.

I lived in Germany for three years when my Air Force dad was stationed there, so I love visiting this pavillion for German candy. There's a shop there that sells it. No kindereggs, though. :sad2:
