Beirgarten any good?

We love Biergarten and usually go twice. Since 1995 I think we have only had one bad meal there and that was a long time ago. The past few years have been excellent!

Biergarten is my favorite restaurant in all of Disney. We usually eat there twice during our trip. The food and service has always been perfect.

Here's another thumbs up :thumbsup2 for the Beirgarten. I have to agree with what other posters have said -- good food, good beer, good entertainment, good fun !!! A definite must do again on our next trip...

There's such a wide variety of items on the buffet, almost anyone can probably find something they like. I can sometimes be a picky eater myself, but I tried and liked most everything. And the entertainment is good, it's like getting dinner and a show for the price of just dinner. Some people don't like the idea of being seated at tables with other parties, but every time we've gone here we ended up striking up conversations with out fellow guests.

Thanks for posting the show times, I got a reservation for 5:15. I am excited, my mother-in-law is German and makes Sauerbraten and Spaetzle and it is sooo good! Can't wait to try it on the buffet.

It was one of the few places we could get in without a long wait last Dec. We all thought the food was great and will definately go back. A VERY picky friend's DD8 could even find something.

Someone's description as comfort food was correct. There is a good selection, not huge, but should be something for everyone.

Something I haven't seen mentioned was the service. We found the service to be about the best we experienced in Epcot.

I could take or leave the show to be honest. Makes conversation near impossible but they are still good musicians.

When it comes to restaurants, I don't put a single bit of stock into other people's opinions, no less restaurant critics! Everyone of us has different tastes and likes. On top of that each visit to the same restaurants has so many factors that can make or break your experience. One time may be great, the next - not so great. Here's one example of my own personal experiences....
For a special birthday dinner we ate at the Portobello Yacht Club in PI. We arrived on time for our ADRs and were seated almost immediately at a wonderful table next to a window. The candle lit table in the small side room created just the right ambience. I can still remember those delicious little pizza appetizers served on a wooden platter - deeeelectible! The rest of the meal and the entire dining experience was perfect.
Fast forward to our next trip. We couldn't wait to dine at PYC again! We arrived on time, and waited another 40 minutes to be seated. We were escorted to a table next to a kitchen door near two tables of very tired kids with very unhappy, disgruntled parents trying their best to keep them orderly (and not succeeding). Our waiter was just as impatient - he obviously was not having a pixie dust day either. The same appetizer that we loved before was not as well done (crusts were not crisp this time) and the courses were served hurriedly.
Same two diners, same restaurant. VERY different experience. So if you asked me how I like PYC....I couldn't give you a definitive answer. Should I give you a reply on two out of three? Ask me after our next trip.
As for Biergarten? What makes or breaks this restaurant for us is where we are seated. If we get to sit down in front of the band, it's terrific! If you are seated on the balconies to the side, it's very difficult to see and it's a completely different experience. If you are asking only about the food...it's good and we like it.
Bravo! Well said. As far as the Biergarten I like it when dining with family or friends. It can be another story when dining solo.

We ate at Biergarten last summer and we didn't care for the food. The atmosphere is a bit different. They sit you with complete strangers about 10 per table. The food would be ok if you like schnitzels and saurbrauten. But one good thing was the entertainment. We got to see a music show and they got the whole crowd envolved by chanting ziggy zoggy ziggy zoggy oy oy oy a few times and raising their beer or water glasses. That was fun.
