beignets

Do they still have beignets at POR or only at FQ- when we were there last April the FQ was closed and I got so used to having beignets and fruit for breakfast- I know I know but I'm hoping I odn't ahve to walk to FQ to get them this year. Will be there 4-27 anyone out there love beignets too?

according to the restaurant board at www.wdwig.com, they still have them at riverside. I havent had beignets since I moved away from louisiana in 1984 and I am very much looking forward to having some. I cant wait to introduce my kids to them. I am staying at POR from May 7-13. This will be my first time staying on a disney resort and I am looking forward to it.

Riverside has them. My first time they were great, second was just so so, third, great again!

I had Beignets at least 5 times during our 7 day stay in Oct (that's where that extra 5 lbs came from---lol). They were very consistantly wonderful there. PO-FQ is the resort known for them... so I wouldn't expect any less. Can't wait to have some for breakfast next week!

Just don't order them if they are really busy at the bakery window. They make them fresh when you order them, and every time I have ordered them when they are busy, they are so undercooked. If they are cooked properly, they are so good!
