Hi! It's been a while since I've had a question, but we weren't planning on coming back to WDW until 2014....however, I talked my husband into another fall break trip!

My son has peanut/tree nut allergies, and I know that I can email special diets to ask, but I thought you guys might know offhand: Are the beignets served at POFQ free of those allergens? We've stayed there before, but I can't remember my son eating them and I think he'd want to try them this year! Thanks in advance for any response...

There are no nuts in them so unless they fry them in peanut oil they should be ok.

Thank you, Michigan...my son does react to peanut oil (though they say the protein that causes the problem is removed), so this is something I'll have to get official confirmation on!

My peanut /nut allergy son had the beignets there in 2010. They said it was completely safe they do not use peanut oil. He ate them and he was fine. They were great. We were so happy he was able to eat them. They have there own section and fryer so they are not near other desserts.
