Hi guys.... just 2 quick questions... where can I find beignets without having to sit down at a restraunt in the parks or at DTD... is there a quick cs somewhere? :confused3

Also ... if I choose to ride the monorail from DL to DTD do they allow strollers? And if so... do they have a elevator to get up to the ramp so I dont have to lug the stroller up all those stairs?

PLEASE HELP... ty!

The Dobies ALWAYS get beignets at Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD--just walk up to the counter and order them!

The Dobies don't fit into strollers,so I can't help you there!

Not sure about the stroller question but like PP said, you can get beignets from Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD ~ so yummy! They come in a paper bag - make sure to shake it up so the powdered sugar coats every piece evenly ;)

Yes, the monorail allows strollers but you have to fold them up. I don't know about an elevator but there are ramps all the way up to the station.

In disneyland, there's a ramp to the monorail platform. In DTD it's stairs, and I do believe we saw people head over to the elevator. We thought about that for a second, but you have to take kidlet out of the stroller and fold the stroller up anyway, so we just folded it then and walked up.

There is an elevator that they do allow you to use with a stroller at the DTD Monorail station. :)

The elevator is only in DTD's station, the TL station has a ramp you walk up.
In DTD the Jazz Kitchen Express has delish beinegts, very very good. :)

At the Royal Street Veranda and Mint Julep Bar (both in New Orlean's Square) have fritters served with an apple dipping sauce. I think that will be the closest to beignets that you'll get at a CS besides going to the Jazz Kitchen take out in DTD.

Does the La Brea bakery have beignets?

I don't think so, only standard fare like muffins and croissants.

The take-out window at Jazz Kitchen are well worth the trek/wait in the morning (wish they opened up earlier than 8).

Maybe we just had a bad batch at the Jazz Kitchen? Anyone ever notice that sometimes they're fresh and sometimes not so much? Is there a better time to go? Sorry to hijack :)

I like going there first thing when they open at 8. They make the beignets in large batches (as opposed to made to order), so if you happen to go on a slow day, there is a risk that you may get a colder bag (kinda like McDonalds fries).

Good to know!
