my mom will be using an ECV due to mobility issues. I know she would love the Backstage Magic tour, but it is accessible? Would she be ok? She'd be doing it without the rest of the family (due to $).

I've done the backstage magic tour in a power wheelchair and they were very sensitive to my needs- I had no problem accessing the entire tour and really enjoyed it!---Kathy

All the tours are accessible. The only potential problem is where most of the people on the group may be using stairs, you will be directed around to a ramp.

And, although there is no official requirement that you let them know in advance, if you tell them that you will be in an ECV they will be better prepared. One time I was on a tour and there were more people in chairs/ECVs than they had planned for. Two of the people had not given advance notice, so that really delayed the start of the tour until they could get an additional vehicle.

really? That is so awesome! She will be thrilled to know this. I think she'll start saving her pennies now!

When I did the tour, one of the guides himself was in a wheelchair.
