We are planning on doing the Behind the Magic Tour (will be a graduation gift for my DS).

I was wondering if this tour in given everyday?

how far in advance should I book?

When booking are you given instructions on where to meet to start tour?

One more question, I have food allergies, do I add this info when booking (because of eating at WL)?

Thanks

What an awesome graduation gift! I surprised my DH with this tour last October, and we really enjoyed it.

The tour is only offered on certain days. We went on a Friday, but I don't remember which other days were available.

I booked five months out to be on the safe side. I'm not sure what the recommended time frame is for booking.

They do give you detailed instructions on where to meet, what time and so on. When I called to book, the CM I spoke to went over all of the details with me. I also received a confirmation/reminder email closer to the date of our tour with that information.

When you book, I would ask the CM to note your food allergies on your reservation. Our tour guides also asked us if anyone had any food allergies before we started our tour.

Thanks for your help. We will be going in Sept. so will book either next month or May. I was trying to figure out which day we should go so that I can plan our other days (ADRs, ect.)I think the week were there will be the beginning of Food and wine festival, thought I might get the tour in before it starts.

Bumping, for more info, anyone?

Are you talking about the Backstage Magic tour? Because I checked on allears.net and didn't see anything called Behind the Magic. If it is Backstage Magic, allears.net says that it's available Monday-Friday, and that Disney recommends booking at least 2 months in advance.

Don't forget the discounts....AAA (sometimes), AP and DVC (15%), Disney Visa (20%).

Yes, Backstage Magic tour. Thanks for the info on what tour days and recommendation on booking. I will be trying to get a tour a day or 2 before Epcot Wine and Food Festival, I have a feeling those times will be harder to get.
