Thank you, everyone! It is so nice to be missed! I can't wait to tell you all that happened. It was a great trip, but hot! I think the sun felt hotter this trip than when we went in August!!
I'm hoping to get started on the trip report on Sunday, if I can get everyone on board.

It did seem like the sun was especially bright and hot last week, didn't it? Still, I would rather still be there!

I was hoping that we would get some sort of validation ( I really hated the thought that I was just being wimpy!). Like Lynn said, we have been there even in August and it never seemed that hot before- it was sucking my will to Dis! It seemed forever to cool down even though we kept our room constantly at 68 (BTW we find the balloon in conjunction with a oscillating fan works great to fool the motion sensor). Even the pool felt hot (I think that it was all that concrete surrounding the 80's pool).

Oh, well, the temp. is usually pretty good in December, we'll just have to see then - I'm thinking that elusive photo trip Lynn has been speaking of.

So,....how was the French Quarter???

Happy Father's Day!

We would collapse in the room and just lay there for long minutes trying to cool down. I think even my eyeballs were sweating on this trip, and I am pretty used to the heat most of the time.

French Quarter was fabulous as always! I love that it has all those trees -- it made walking to the food court to refill our mugs so enjoyable!

Can't wait to read all about your trip!!!
