I am thinking of planning a trip for the first week of March. How are crowds, weather, etc.? It should be after the President's Day crowds but before the Spring Break crowds, correct? Let me know your thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc.!

THANKS!

Awesome:goodvibes . The first week in March is after Presidents Day but before spring break officially starts. The weather when we were there was mid 70's with a couple days in the lo 80's, only one late night sprinkle...perfect weather.
The crowds were low - short (10 mins) waits early in the day. The more popular rides were easy to get on early, and we grabbed FP's as we went - we rode Soarin' 4 times on one day:cloud9: , and FastTrack 5 times the same day! Lines would increase as the day went on but since we kept grabbing FP's we didn't mind. And some rides were still walk ons.
It was actually like the most perfect vacation we ever had, only one thing went wrong (with a server at a resturant), and I think the great weather and lo crowds contributed to it.
I'd like to go back, but now that our son is in middle school, taking him out of school for a week isn't realistic. Looking at the beginning of November, since they had a "quiet" week at that period with only three days of school:teacher: .

We'll also be there during the first week of March. My husband, son and I were there last year at that time. Weather was very pleasant...it only rained one evening. Crowds were surprisingly light (especially during Extra Magic Hours). We enjoyed it so much that we'll be returning this year from Feb. 28-March 6. It is also ESPN weekend. Even with that event, the crowds were pretty managable. Hope this helps in your decision.

This sounds good! We will be there March 2 - 7. We've often gone President's week or the week before since that's when our kids had their school break. Now they're both in college (the same one) so we'll be going on their spring break. Sounds like we're in for lighter crowds. Yeah!

I will be there March 1-8 and I am so excited. I have become obsessed with everything Disney since I booked the trip.

Can someone Help????????
what kind of clothes to pack? I don't want to bring jeans and need shorts. :yay:

I would bring mostly shorts and tees. However, I would bring a light jacket/sweater for early mornings and late evenings..... plus that emergency pair of jeans.

I wore jeans the whole time there - it wasn't too hot, so not a problem. My son wore shorts, and we had him wear sweats one night we stayed out really late. He was comfortable and so was I. We both had the pull on hooded jackets - lightweight, but fleecy so they are warm. We stayed out all day, so just tied them around out waists if we did not want to wear them, and they didn't bother much and stayed out of our way.
