Please keep in mind your upgrade cost at guest relations will be based on the WHOLESALE price they sold the ticket to TicketMania...Disney will not cover any of the markup. So, if you don't buy from Disney, the upgrade cost will vary.

A true upgrade can be done without worrying about the difference of buying from ticketmania or disney. Keep in mind a true "upgrade" must be done within a certain time limit. I think it is within 14 days of first time use.

It is only an issue when you want to apply a partially used ticket to buy another ticket. This is your only option outside of the time limit.

Hey guys, sorry for the misinformation...
3xthecharm is right because you are buying a 2005 ticket. Pre-2005, you can get "dollar credit" towards a new MYW ticket, and I got that info confused with current tickets. For complete info there's probably a link to the ticket info on this site...anyone help? I happen to have read all about ticket info on Deb's site.

Where were you a couple of weeks ago? I posted a similar question about upgrades a couple of weeks ago and got zero replies. We bought 4 10 day MYW hoppers from Ticketmania at a great price, knowing that we will probably upgrade to APs. So now I learn that to upgrade I'll have to pay Ticketmainia's markup. (That's what I wanted to know a couple of weeks ago.) So I think I would have been better off paying the Disney advance purchase price. Hmmm...that will be the first time I've lost money because of "tricks" I've learned here and on mousesavers. Live and learn.
