Beers around the world

We 're planning our next trip and I understand some of the countries in Epcot have changed their beer selections. anyone have an updated list?

I don't have a list per se, but I recently visited for F&W festival and noticed that Canada no longer has Molsen; it's Labat Blue now and Germany no longer has Becks; it's Lowenbrau now.

Casa (formerly casa blanca) is back in Morroco. The moosehead cart is back out in Canada and now offeres moosehead and moosehead light.

Germany had Lowenbrau, Spaten Optimator (dopplebock) and a Weissbier on tap at the counter service restaurant (I didn't check the biergarten) last week. Rose & Crown in the UK had Guiness, Harp, Bass and Boddington's on tap.

Those were the only places I stopped to have a beer.

I'm not sure but you might want to check with the other LOTW (lushes of the world) as I"m sure someone there will know.

DH will be devastated! That was one stop we'd make every trip, even if we didn't eat there. Not big fans of Lownebrau.:eek

Lisa don't fret - The new German beers are much better and more authentic than Becks. If your DH truly likes beer he should love the new additions to Germany. Anyway, he can get Becks just about anywhere (grocery stores, bars, 7-11) so I think the new German beers should be more special.

I was actually extremely happy they replaced Becks for some "real" German beer. I have been to Germany a few times and never even saw Becks there.

Either way - have a great time!!

Germany has Franziskaner weissbier now.

Now that's a good beer. I had one locally on Sunday.

Tell your husband to try a few. He won't be disappointed.

Beaver Tails has La Fin Du Monde and a couple of other good ones.

In Canada they also have Trois Pistoles and Maudite (in addition to La Fin Du Monde). All by the same brewery - all fabulous and all potent!! Buyer beware

BF wants to do beer around the world. I keep telling him he'll be drunk by American Showcase, but he won't listen. Do they have sample size beers? TIA!
