I could be wrong but unless it states "beer" on the label you may have a problem. Some have reported that the bag check scrutiny varies.

Agree with the PP. I would expect inconsistent results when attempting to bring on anything that is not clearly "beer" or "wine." IIRC, people were getting differing answers about whether or not hard cider was permitted, for example.
