So, I just read a post about an awesome cooler you get when you buy a "bucket" of beer. And, that you can have it "refilled" with 6 more beers when you purchase 5.
:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1

Here are the questions...
If DH and I buy a "bucket," do the 6 beers all have to be the same? Meaning, can we mix 3 Corona with 3 Miller Lite in a bucket?
Do you know if they carry any gluten-free beer options, such as ciders (like Angry Orchard) or Redbridge?

Thanks in advance!

If you get the bucket/cooler you can mix and match! They did have Angry Orchard too!

I saw the Angry Orchard in bottles at several of the bars. Can't remember if they had them at any of the little drink stands by the pool where they sold the buckets though.

From what I've read Angry Orchard is bottle only. Only cider on draft is Strongbow but maybe that will change soon

On a recent cruise to Mexico, we bought six bottles of Sol and Corona for $1 each at a shop in Cozumel before re-boarding the ship, then carried them in our DCL beer cooler onto Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay two days later with some ice and lime slices. Not only did all six cost the same as one beer at the Castaway Air Bar, but they were COLD!!!! So I guess you could say we extended the cooler bargain. Will bring the cooler with us again next cruise!

GENIUS!!

Does anyone know if Strongbow is on draft on all the boats? I'm particularly interested in knowing if the Wonder has it...:crowded:

This kind of stuff is what led to DCL changing the alcohol policy recently....people drinking their personal bought booze outside of their cabin. What might seem like a great idea and beneficial to you could mean a bad experience for many others when DCL clamps down even harder on their "bring your own" policy.

I am not judging just stating the obvious.

Oh for the love of spaghetti...this alcohol policing nonsense and blaming has gone too far. We don't sneak it into the dining room under our clothes. Bringing my Mexican-bought beer onto the ship was totally permitted, and because we chose to consume it outdoors, off the ship, in a hammock (not in a bar) as opposed to locked in our cabin isn't the same as pouring the contents of my hip flask into my lemonade at Triton's while my server ran for butter. For crying out loud. I ate my Caribbean candy I bought in Cozumel outside of my cabin, too. And i used sunscreen I didn't buy on board even though they sell it there. At some point in time common sense has to prevail.

Agreed!!! ^

At this point it does it really matter? They've changed the policy for the worst so who cares now?

As I said I am not judging or policing. Feel free to do what you want!!

Did Disney actually say this was the reason for the policy change? I never read that anywhere. Just curious....

And the obvious is this statement from the alcohol policy (current one as well as the "new" one):
While adult Guests ages 21 and older may bring alcohol onboard, the following guidelines apply:
•-Alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area.

Yep, silly me. If you felt I was judgmental then I apologize it really was not my intent. But I do think it still matters because things can always get worse, like not letting people bring any beverages onboard.

Back to our regularly scheduled discussion about the cooler beer package.:)
