Beer

Moosehead in Canada!

I never ignor beer threads. Dos Equis in Mexico too.

My husband (homebrewer, former employee of a craft brewery, and overall beer guru) likes the Spaten at Germany. I just asked him and he tells me that Spaten is a dark, malty ale.

Canada - Labatt, Moosehead

UK - several on tap including Guinness, Bass, Harp, Boddingtons, Stella Artois, etc.

France - Kronenbourg

Morocco - Casa Blanca & Budweiser

Japan - Kirin, Sapporo

America - Sam Adams, Budweiser

Italy - Peroni

Germany - Becks, Bitburger

Outpost - Budweiser

China - Tsingtao

Norway - Carlsberg

Mexico - Dos Equis, Tecate

Becks at Germany has been the best I have found so far...........however my "research" is nowhere near complete.

Consider the atmosphere too. Its great to grab a pint at the Rose & Crown in England or there is a secluded spot in Morocco, little outdoor cafe, that is also nice to sit down in for a bit.

That being said Dos Equis in Mexico is my favorite.

I'd have to say that I haven't found a bad beer anywhere in epcot...my hubby and I took a two month long (once a week) beer appreciation class and we know what makes a good beer, but everyone's flavor like/dislike is totally different.
Beer is not suppose to be super cold either, or it lacks in the body and flavor...so if you're in the mood for a "cold beer" don't drink a dark or a malty beer, drink a light color beer...Italy (peroni) and Norway have good light color beers, but try not to drink them *too* cold...cool, yes!

I like the Spaten Optimator in Germany - when they have it. They don't seem to be consistent lately. Last two times they didn't seem to have it.

Pretty much anything at the Rose & Crown, especially when Nick puts in the Shamrock on a pint of Guinness or Boddingtons :)

Dos Equis isn't bad.

Now, I don't know how cold they are served...

Welcome to the Dis Bigg Daddy! You picked a great topic for your first post:thumbsup2

For a great beer location I like Rose & Crown at the UK pavilion. If you'd like to try something different, sample the Unibroue beers as Le Cellier in Canada.
They have a higher alcohol content than most beers--around 8-9%.

Re the coldness issue, the beer sold at Epcot generally is cold, but in the Florida sun it just doesn't stay cold too long. That means you have to drink fast.;)

I never visit Epcot without having a pint of Bass in UK:thumbsup2

I agree with this one!

Some good beers and ciders (hard cider I think it's called in the US?) at the pub in UK @ Epcot. Pricey mind you!
