Beer at Oga's?

Can anyone confirm that the beers on tap at Oga's Cantina are brewed for Disney exclusively? For example, is the Gamorrean Ale really just Fat Tire in disguise? Or is it a slightly tweaked version of a Fat Tire that is only found at Oga's? I don't want to waste one of my two drinks (you only get two per adult, right?) on a seriously over-priced Fat Tire. Thanks!

Gamorrean Ale - New Belgium Brewing Co.

Red Ale with Roasted Caramel, Hop Character, and Touch of Grapefruit | ABV 5.2% - IBU 22

Everything states they are brewed specifically for GE. But thats not to say that its not just a slight tweak on a brew they already have.

They may use the Fat Tire as a base but I don't think you find the hint grapefruit and caramel notes in the standard Fat Tire. To make it work I'd bet they made some slight tweaks to a batch just for Disney, the ABV & IBU #'s are the same at Fat Tire.

Thanks for the input. My DH loves to try all the beers (a trip to WDW back in 2014 led him to Untapped and he's never looked back) and this info will really help as he makes important beer decisions.

I am almost sure I have had the Bluepoint one at their brewery in NY. That might have been before Galaxy's Edge opened though. They have a bunch of Star Wars beers.

Just a heads up, you cannot order any beers at oga's on their own. You can only order them as part of the $80 flight that comes with the rancor teeth glasses and holder (unless something has changed).

Also you can have as many drinks as you like as far as I know, as long as you are out by your time limit. DW and I each got 3 last year when we went.

You can get beers separately, unless they decided to get weird (my parents ordered beers back in 2019, but I've only done cocktails since). The menu gives prices for each individually.

Yes, sorry, you are correct. I was thinking of getting a flight without the special glasses, that was the issue i was remembering. you cannot get the beer flight in just regular glasses, only in the special ones. thanks for the refresher.
