I know they don't sell, nor do they allow, alcoholic beverages in the Magic Kingdom.

But what about the other parks? If they do sell, what are the rules about drinking and, er, touring? Can DH and I sip our suds while we sit on a bench waiting for the kids? Or, must we remain inside a restaurant with the drinks?

Thanks.
Kelley

Yes, the other 3 parks serve alcohol. I don't know the rules about where you can drink them though. In Epcot, you don't have to be inside a restaurant I know. I've bought wine and champagne from France and strolled over to Morocco sipping. I know BGW you have to consume your alcohol in certain areas per VA law, not sure about WDW and FL laws.

EPCOT, MGM, and AK all allow you to tour and sip. We've even asked for a "to go" cup in a restaurant so we could hit the trail before we've finished our lunch or dinner cocktail. There are exceptions, e.g., if it's not a Disney restaurant (HoB in DD comes to mind, Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk) they aren't supposed to allow you to leave with a drink, or so we've been told. Jellyrolls is the only place that has absolutely refused to permit drinks in or out of the club. ESPN and the rest sell "to go" drinks as do all of the kiosks/restaurants around EPCOT. Ditto those places selling beer/wine at AK. You can't leave the parks with your drinks as in days of old, but you can walk about freely inside the parks. Obviously, you can't take drinks inside attractions that forbid food, beverages.

Enjoy! :drinking1

Yes but you should be aware you can only buy one ... ie at Fantasmic dh and dd were sitting in our seats, I lined up to get a beer for each of us, uh no only one, but there are two of us... a nice person behind me said she wasnt buying a beer so she bought one for us!

Also in Epcot, dh and dd sat down for illuminations, and I thought I could buy a beer for dh and a wine for me, nope, just one at a time!! (you'd think I learned this at Fantasmic!!)

One beer at a time?? why that is downright unamerican...

They'll sell one drink at a time per adult. There's nothing to keep you from buying one round, setting them aside and getting another, on the sly of course. Actually, there's no reason to as the brews, especially in Epcot, come in two sizes, large and huge.

Only one drink at a time per ID, and you may not carry out glass containers. Anything carried out must be in a plastic cup.

Its one drink to a customer, you can not buys drinks for people they can not see. As to serving minors. Each person, after ID check may purchase for themselves as many as they want to be consumed by them. Stops the kids from paying adults money to buy one for them. I've been asked years before upon entering PI, to pretend to being someones parent so they could get in, they were willing to pay for this service. Now everyone gets in I believe and you pay per visit to the night clubs!
