Been to the pool when it's cold outside?

I had planned for us to have a pool day this coming Wednesday (the middle of our vacation) but the weather report says it is going to cool down to a high of only 60. I know the pools are supposed to be heated. Should I reschedule our pool day? Has anyone gone to the pool when it has been cold outside?

Oh yes. When we were at BWV last December, it was nice during the day, but cool (50s) at night. We never got to the pool when the sun was out, but the kids really wanted to swim, so we went there one night (only ones in the pool). The water was warm and the kids spent an hour on the slide - they had a lot of fun. I think as long as you stay in the water, you'll be warm. It's when you get out......

We went to the pool when it was in the high 50's. The pool was warm and the kids still used the pool slide quite a bit. I'm not sure that I would plan a whole pool day unless you plan on staying in the pool the whole time. Once we got out, we really weren't comfortable just sitting in the chairs. It was just too cold.

We went in the pooll last week on one of those 60 degree days. The water was pretty warm, but I was FREEZING! DH and the girls lasted longer than me! Then, DH took DD5 into the hot tub, while I went in with the baby.
