Palm springs in the 60s was a thriving metropolion complex and coming from the forests of Joshua tree, for me Palm springs was diamond and high life. NOw Joshua tree is the diamond and there was news tv release from LA..(love watching la news on cable) .that folks doing spring break in Joshua tRee are asked to take their garbage home and expect there to be no place to park......while Palm Springs has lost its luster, no one is willing to invest into fixing up properties and the concept of Palm Springs is being abandoned as development moves east....thoug there is only so much room east...so maybe in 10 years Palm springs will be restored to its glory.

Banning, California ???? even Greyhound was 60s cheaper to Banning than Palm Springs.
