One cold morning, December,20th, 1981...it was operation Santa Claus and all the military training was halted at Fort Jackson...and on your nicket and your vacation time....you could go home....or stay and do guard duty....for me home was Palm Springs....and Thruway bus had a route thru El Paso...all I remember was the windy bus staion, wanting some fresh air from the long overnight trip out of Dallas. The round trip was the oddesy of my life.

Detroit .....yep...was a nice placed before it burned down this summer. we did our first traveling play of OZ in detriot, the collge mission to bring the performng arts to the forest schools of oregon.
