Been reading so many horror stories about bad CMs

I was at Poly's Kona Cafe one week ago and had a rude waiter. I realize everyone has bad days, but dh and I were somewhat surprised at his tone. "Are you ready to order or NOT?" was his question. Emphasis on the "or not" part. It was like he was annoyed I took a whole 5 seconds to glance at dh and ask if he wanted to order first. MEOW.

On the whole, disney's CM's are terrific.

Wow! I'm a fairly quiet person but that would have prompted me to ask for the manager. That would have changed his attitude quickly. I'm in the service industry. Bad mood or not, you can't do that in a service position!

I took the lemonade/lemon incident as the cast member using a little humour. I can't honestly believe the server was serious. If a waitress said that to me I'd think she was kidding. :earboy2:

That's exactly what I thought when I read this, I actually laughed a little. Knowing the attitude of the wonderful CMs at Le Cellier I probably would have responded with "Can you make that a whole lemon please, a regular wedge of lemon makes such weak lemonade".

I know! I love Le Cellier and have always encountered good service here, except this one incident. It has honestly been my only suprise/bad CM experience. She was quite rude, but we still had a good meal regardless. We decided that she was probably just having a bad day. :goodvibes

Oh of course there are bound to be bad CMs. But most likely they will not be CMs for long. ;)
Almost all are GREAT people who love Disney as we do.

Thumbs up to CMs.
:wave2:

We should have a CM Appreciation Day! :goodvibes
