I've been lurking for a few months now. My family (22 people) and I are going to be descending on Disney in June. This is probably my 10th trip to Disney but first one in about 8 years. Yikes! I lurked around here to get ideas and tips/tricks! You people really know your stuff!!
I'm Mandy. I'm 31, no 2 legged kids (yet) but mother to 3 wonderful dogs who I do consider my children. (Yes, I'm one of THOSE!) I've been married to my hubby for almost 3 years!
7/22 people will be staying in hotels. The Hubs and I, along with my Mom and Aunt will be staying at the Yacht club. (My mom and I have stayed multiple places over the years....). The other 3 hotel stayers will be at the Beach Club! We are excited because this is the first time we've ever stayed here!
So Hello to everyone! Can't wait to get to know you! And if you have any advice, please feel free to share it!

Welcome! I'm excited for your big group. You'll get lots of advice here but one thing I will say having done a group trip about half the size of yours is don't expect that everyone will want to tour together. Maybe plan to meet up at whatever your group agrees would be a must-do (IASM? castle photo?) and then just let the group's members tour as they wish. We had three generations in our family and only spent one day in the same park. It was a slower touring day because my folks don't move so fast. As a group we did the Hall of Presidents and were able to take a great group photo in front of the castle. My parents were content to sit on a bench and people watch. You might want to look into group texting so you can communicate easily if you plan to meet up for a group meal or attraction.

Just know that it's totally fine if you don't have 100% group attendance 100% of the time. I hope you have a great visit.

We totally plan on doing our own things and just meeting up here and there! I know we have a big group dinner planned for Boma (I think...I'm just showing up where i'm told to for this!) one night. Also, we are quite lucky in that the youngest person in our huge group is 14!
I did, however, make up a "scavenger hunt" of sorts for the entire family. It was a lot of work and quite fun! Can't wait to see how everyone does with it!
I think I'd be a good fit with your parents! As much as I like to see all the attractions, I do love to people watch!

Oh, a scavenger hunt sounds like fun! If I planned one it would have to involve finding and eating a chocolate covered frozen banana - my favorite park treat :)
