At Kingsholm (Gloucester RFC) that is! My first ever experience of a live rugby match. I don't think I've ever been in such a partisan place in my life, LOL! I'm sure the ref must think his name is actually w****r!

We got off to a bit of a shaky start, but we triumphed in the end.

LOL at the ref's name Deb!

Thankfully it seems the Tigers have woken up after their defeat to Leeds last week - I'm sure we will give Gloucester a good pasting later on in the season :)

Talking of sheds reminds me of the time I went to watch Leicester play Coventry. We sat in the stands at the Coventry ground - they were so old that everytime the ball was kicked out of play and landed on the stand roof the whole crowd below were showered with bits of rust!

. . . and there I was thinking you were being brave by going into your own shed - facing down those horrible creatures with eight legs, LOL:p

She was actually watching those horrible creatures with sixteen legs - aka the Gloucester forwards :)

Deb, "Going to the Shed" here means either you got a whopping or you went to the outhouse (loo). Now which one was it?

Deb

I love rugby but don't tend to go to live games as I had a bit of a thing with a couple of the players when I was younger. Not at the sametime though. One no longer is a Gloucester but YUM all the same.

And Tim Gloucester is a fantastic side. You cheeky boy.

Tim

Just to let you know Coventry is not all rust and rubble you know, and the people are fantastic (lol)   Well I certainly am...... you know what they say "if you can't praise yourself, don't bother praising anyone" well my mum used too say i'm waffling ain't I.... SORRY:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I used to work in Coventy Sharon - near the airport at Bagginton (Rowley Fields Industial Estate). I have also played badminton at various venues around Coventry in the Nuneaton and District Badminton League :)

I must say though that the ring road is a nightmare to get on and off :)

Now that is very true Tim, but the council must learning because they've put traffic lights on it now so its a lot more easier, even if it is a bit slower in rush hour.

I used to work down that industrial estate as well nearly 7 years ago now though (small world) at a small company called UKPS.
