You don't need to make ADRs for your CS meals, so you can be a little flexible about them and eat whenever you get hungry. You'll also need a lot more than 15 minutes per CS meal. You could be on line for 5-10 minutes and I can't imagine all three kids will be able to eat lunch in the remaining 5-10 minutes you have alotted.

Sorry, should have been more clear. The times posted are target times to be at the restaurants. Not time allotted to eat. :wave2:

Looks great, but I gotta mention one thing--

I love almost all the restaurants at Epcot. However, Electric Umbrella is the one exception. IMO this one is on a level with the ABC Commissary as one of the worst counter service places at WDW. With all the great choices in Epcot, I would research this one a little further.

I agree completely. I would definitely head to World Showcase instead of eating here. You could pop in just about anywhere and have a better meal than this.

I second that, too. Several World Showcase countries have decent CS spots which would be a better choice. And they're not all necessarily that far from the Future World area--if you don't want to walk all the way around.

Do you have any recommendations? My kids are not into trying various types of food. What would be a safe bet? They do like Mexican and chinese food.... :bitelip:

You could try San Angel Inn and Cantina (Mexico) or Lotus Blossom Cafe (China) in Epcot's World Showcase. My friend and I ate at Lotus Blossom last December, and we both enjoyed it! World Showcase really has the best counter-service options at Epcot, in my opinion. Enjoy! :-)

How about fish and chips at the Rose and Crown pub (the pub is the counter service version--not the table service restaurant).

If you don't want to head all the way over the World Showcase, I would highly recommend Sushine Seasons. It was far and away the best CS meal we had. The Turkey Muenster sandwich was incredible and they have delicious desserts there that are not prepackaged stuff. I had a chocolate mousse cake that was amazing! That would be my recommendation in place of Electric Umbrella. Seasons is in the Land.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Only my son eats fish, so I am unsure of the seafood place.

I have heard bad things about the mexican restaurant. Anyone here have reviews about this.

I have heard good things about Sunshine Seasons before. Is it kid friendly?

I hate to have to plan all my meals around my kids, but hungry kids=cranky kids!

Yes, its very kid friendly. Its kinda like the food court in the mall, but a little bit healthier. I forgot all about that place--great idea, TikiGoddess!!

For sure keep the early time at Chef Mickeys. They are harder to get the closer you get to your date of arrival. At least that is my experience.

My friend and I tried the fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shoppe (Harry Ramsden's) when we were at Epcot last December. We both loved the food! (Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room was also quite delicious; my friend ordered the cottage pie, and I got the fish and chips!) What can I say? I love fish and chips! Oh, I really miss Epcot right now! :-)
