Hi guys
Well returned from my 4 day trip tp dlrp and I wanted to say a big thankyou to all those out there who helped me out with questions that only a newbie would ask!!!
Had a fantastic time and was really pleased with myself for being sooo organised as we got to see and go on everything in the parks and the studios!!
Thought that the whole thing was just amazing and of course my children loved it!!!
We arrived on the Eurostar on the Tuesday afternoon about12.30 middayish and left out luggage at disney express (well worth it was we managed to get straight into the parks)
Walking into the park there was Mickey with a queue of 5 people waiting to see him....how lucky was that!!! completley unplanned!
Made our way into Fantasyland as I thought it would be best for the children to start with something slow!!! Managed to get on Peter Pan and Pinoccio 4 times that day ...the kids loved Peter pan!!!!
I had prebooked the wild west show for that evening and it was fantastic..well worth it!!!
As you can imagine it was an early night that night but the next morning had early opening hours so we were at the park for 8am!!! freezing cold and still dark!!!!
Made our way to Frontier land and queued for aprox 3 minutes for space mountain and the children fell in love with buzzlightyear lazer ride...we rode that 4 times continuously!!!!
We then made our way over to Walt Dsiney studios before 10am and bumped into all of the characters wnadering around inc Chicken little, lilo stich crewella and of course Sulley (we had to queue up to meet him) but only 5 mins or so. We caught the disney cinema parade (by complete chance) and watched the stunt show (fantastic)
Caught something to eat in one of the fastfood places near the entrance to the studios (nothing fantastic..but quick and easy!!)
then made our way over the Park again ...did most of the rides that afternoon including star tours, thunder mountain, crushers coaster ((not for the light hearted)) I went on expecting it to be for kiddies!! was I mistaken!!
That evening we ate at Le Grange just for the fact that they had live music playing and line dancing lessons on in there....fantastic resturaunt as in surroundings but the food was awfal and the service was even worse!!
Again an early night the kids nearly fell asleep at the table!!
Thursday morning we had a character breakfast..as you may well remember I had big trouble trying to book it I booked it at the hotel on the first day and there were no problems. Great character interaction and my 2 fell in love with Eyore!
After breakfast we made our way to adventure land and straight to Pirates ride ......hardly anybody about and we got to ride it 3 times without even getting off!!!! Great ride and when we returned later that day one of the pirates remembered us and was having a laugh with us!!! Only one of the ocassions that cast memebers really spoke to us!!!
Had lunch in Blue Lagoon resturaunt (we had prebooked this) and the food was fantastic and service very good. Although quite expensive...
Caught the Parade in the park today and did some shopping after the Candlebration.......my little girl started crying during this because Pluto didn't come up to her but daisy duck saw her and came over and wiped her eyes and gave her a cuddle which she was very pleased with!!!! but again another early night we couldn't even tempt the children into the arcades!!!
Last day today and we managed to do all the big rides early in the morning again we also went to watch Animagique ..great show! well worth watching.
and of course rode Peter pan one more time!
We ate lunch in Walts which again was a fantastic resturaunt and the service was second to one!
We were all exhausted by the end of our trip but had an amazing time!!!
