Beds!!

How are the beds at ASMo?? POR??? Are they comfortable enough or do I need to send my pillow top mattress pad ahead of time?? The more I keep hearing, the more nervous I get!!

Not sure about AS, but the POR are doable. Now if you are absolutely determined to have some softness, then yes, I would plan to bring the mattress pad. The only complaint I have about any bed is either the head seems lower, or the flatter pillows or something. I always take my own fluffy pillow anyway, but I have to sleep on two pillows...otherwise it seems it honestly give me really bad heart burn (which I never have otherwise) and makes me sick.

I would definitely bring your mattress pad. I bring my 2" memory foam mattress topper in a garment bag whenever we stay at POP or POFQ. The beds feel hard as bricks to me and my mattress topper makes all the difference.

You would think with all of the money that people shell out for these vacations, that they could step it up a notch! Granted, we all can't afford to stay at the GF!!!!

We stayed at POR the last week of January (in Oak Manor), and the beds, even though they were full size, felt very plush and comfortable. It was one of the best hotel beds I have slept in for a long time.

We have the plush pillowtop mattress at home and going to WDW the first time staying at CBR was something really different, mattresses were very firm and we could feel the springs, the 2nd time we went back to CBR we expected this. At the end of the night we were so tired we fell asleep trying to lay "inbetween the springs" OKW we thought would be differerent, same mattress, very firm and springy. Bonnet Creek same thing, in a Pres. suite!! So this upcoming trip at the BWV's we are expecting this! I wish we would stay at Swan or Dolphin, I believe they both have heavenly beds but not this trip!

ASMo beds are absolutely fine We've stayed there exclusively over the years and both DH and I have "bad backs" so can suffer an uncomfortable mattress a mile off! ASMo have NEVER given us any problems. All of us love to be surrounded by pillows and we get them as well. Don't waste packing space with something you won't need
