In the Grand Villa rooms at OKW, can the two beds in the upstairs rooms be pushed together to make one? In pics with the floor plans they show both rooms have two beds each, can either of these room have one bed or the two pushed together?

TIA

I don't understand why you would want to push them together. In one room it is 2 double beds and in the other it is 2 queen beds if I remember correctly from our stays there.

If they are queen size it will be totally fine! I was imagining two smaller beds and then having to spend a week sleeping in a separate bed than my husband lol. But we will be totally fine in a queen!!! Thanks for confirming the sizes.

DVC asks that you not move furniture like that.
I don't know whether you actually can

I think my worry was fixed. I was imagining two small beds and having to sleep in two separate beds with my husband but it sounds like one of the rooms has two queens and we will totally be fine in a queen!

Definitely 2 queens in one bedroom and 2 full sized in the other room. Too bad you can't get the king in the master.

We will be good with the queen. My parents are taking the king and we will have one room upstairs and the kids will have the other :) I figure we will hardly be in the room anyways but I do prefer sharing a bed with my hubby, at least most days lol

I'm glad the bed situation was cleared up for you

BUT

Have you ever stayed at the Old Key West Resort? The furniture is VERY good quality and made solidly. I doubt you could move it even if you wanted too. I'm sure the resort would be upset if you tried. You could injure yourselves or others trying to do it.

You CAN moved the furniture in the living room around though if you wish but I'd make sure everything is put back before you leave the villa. Often the chairs are not facing the TV and we have to move them!

I would have called and asked if we had had to move it. I'm not the type to break the rules.....honestly I would sleep in the separate bed if they said they couldn't move it. I was just curious. thanks for the tip about the chairs and tv though!
