Beds and Bedding

I am hoping to get information on the pillows, beds and bedding at some of the WDW resorts (see below.) We are hoping to get my parents to join us on a trip this December, but they are very worried about the beds, and needing to be comfortable and get a good night's sleep.

They are thinking about the Royal Plaza Hotel, which boasts "a pillow-top mattress, snow white duvet, and plush pillows." We would prefer for them to stay at a real resort hotel with us.

Possible hotels: Pop Century, Port Orleans French Quarter, Caribbean Beach, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk Inn.

Most likely Animal Kingdom Lodge or Boardwalk will have the best beds, they are deluxe hotels. But, my parents went with us last November, and talk about pickey. You have no idea, my mother will not eat italian out because nobody can cook as good as her. Anyway, they loved POP, as do my DW, DS and DD. We are DVC members as well. I am sure your parents would enjoy any bed, as long as they were with you.

Many have said the beds at Pop are hard.
All Star Music has been completly refurbished and they have the new pillowtop mattresses. I thought they were were very comfortable. Almost as comfortable as A Hevenly bed.

Have they concidered staying At the Swan or Dolphin?

The Swan and Dolphin have the Westin hotel Heavenly beds and they are well heavenly. They are the most comfotable bed I have even slept in.


The Swan/Dolphin offen has great rates that cost about as much as a Disney Moderate.

It is a real 4 star hotel.

Deluxe but not as expensive as Disney's deluxe resorts.



The heavenly beds are ...well heavenly.

The Grotto pool and hot tubs are fun and relaxing.

Plus Epcot and MGM are just a short boat ride or walk away!

From Epcot hop on the monorail and head on over to the MK!
