Hi! We're leaving for Disney World in 11 days, staying at Pop Century. We have two kids, ages 4 and 2. I requested two bed rails. Does anyone know anything about them? Will they be on the bed when we arrive or do I put them in? Are they pretty good at keeping the kids from rolling out of the bed? I figure I'll put a line of pillows at the bottom of the bed to keep them from rolling off there.

Thanks in advance for all of your help! Jennifer

I'd like some input on these as well. I have a 3yr old and requested bed rails. I may sleep in the bed with her anyway, just to make me more comfortable.

depending on the layout of the room, you maybe able to push one of the beds up against the wall, so you would have one les side to worry about, and put the littlest one on that side.. besides.. kids bounce.. just kidding.. :rotfl:

Yes requested bedrail for GF stay and WL. Once in room other time called housekeeping and they brought it to room quickly. We put them in ourself. When bed is changed they maybe up or down depending on housekeeper-always check installation yourself. Seem to work fine. We have safety first ones here at home so daughter is used to them and I think they were the same or close to it at WDW.

OP is staying at POP and those beds do NOT move. I am staying there as well and am still hoping to hear from someone who has experience with the rails at POP.

Thanks! :)

we have used the bedrails at polynesian and grand floridian. they are the safety first brand ones that you jam in under the mattress. the sides are a fabric mesh. one time ours were installed another we installed them.

We used bed rails at an All Star Resort (and I would bet they are the same at all the resorts) and as others have said they are the type that you put between the mattress and box spring. I believe we requested them but ended up calling mousekeeping.

You'll need to call housekeeping when you arrive (they won't be in your room beforehand, as your room # may get changed) to get them to drop them off).

We have used them before @ WDW, and housekeeping will bring ones for each side of the bed.
