I have a silly question but is there a possibility of oak mites?

I ask because you're in the treehouse villas so there's trees plentiful around you.

A random stab in the dark but something to consider if there's oak trees around there.

Never heard of oak mites, anything is possible

It's mites that come down from oak trees, they itch like heck usually and can take a while to appear (sometimes 10-16 hours) but they can be found all over your body depending on your exposure. It was just a thought since you're in the tree houses. You could look up what the skin reaction normally looks like just to see if it resembles at all what you have.

Could be thanks. The reason i thought bed bugs was because they are in a line pattern that looked like bed bug bite picture. (Have over 100 bites) good news is since home have not had anymore

It could also have been a bug we call no see ums that you got bit by on the beach in vero, where they are very prevalent. My niece got bit up by them really bad last time we were there. It can take a day or two for the welts to really show up.

The dreaded no see ums...we are frequent visitors to vero and always at no see um time..I am pretty confident they were not but those are not fun either.

Honestly these sound like noseeum bites which are extremely common at vero. They can present as bed bug bites, and do not show up for 24-48 hours after the bites first happen. My first stay at Vero they all popped up once I got home (nothing while there though). Mine were so severe I had to visit urgent care. Good luck!

Edit: just saw you already replied saying you don’t think so but it sure sounds exactly like many noseeum experiences. Mine happened in October. As long as it’s warm those guys are everywhere.
