Some of you might already know this but I thought I would share.
We stayed at the Grand Floridian last week- had an amazing time BTW! Anyway, we were in the lobby and saw 2 beagles with handlers wearing vests that said "Pest Control". Later on in the week I was chatting with a manager and brought it up. She said they were there to look for bed bugs! Amazing!!
I never knew they trained dogs to do that?!!

Yes, it's a thing. When a coworker had bed bugs they used the dogs after treatment to determine if there were any left. They've been used at Disney for a while to detect them as well. Pretty neat they can train them that way.

Yep, the beagles have been in use at WDW, and many other places, for several years now.

"Yo! Where's Roscoe?"

I guess Roscoe the Bed Bug Dog isn't in TV commercials where you live.

Look for him on YouTube. Everybody loves Roscoe. :)

Yep, rode in the elevator at BWV with the 2 beagles and their handlers. They were hesitant to confirm they were looking for bed bugs, but they did :)
