Becoming seasonal - DCP Alumni

Hi, I completed my Disney College Program last fall and was trying to find some way to be seasonal because I am really missing it. I found this on the college program website, which states:

"The rewarding experience that's gained here inspires many to return to work as a seasonal cast member.

Disney College Program alumni who wish to return to work seasonally must contact 407-WDW-LABOR with their availability. Also, alumni returning as seasonal cast members must have their own transportation and housing accommodations. Unfortunately, Disney company-sponsored housing is not available to seasonal cast members."

I called this number and it's basically the number for current cast members for scheduling and whatnot, and they told me to call casting on Monday.

So has anyone here been a past DCP and become seasonal months later? Is it possible? The website makes it sound simple, but I have a feel that it's a more serious process...

Interested CPs can transfer to seasonal at the conclusion of their program; but if it's been more than six months since your last worked shift you need to go through the entire application process.

Yea, my last shift was in January so it probably wouldn't be able to work. I had heard the 6 month thing before but it didn't list that on the website, so that's why I was curious. It just says "college program alumni." I guess I'll give casting a call on Monday just incase. I wish it could work!!
