Becoming a WDW Planner

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knows how you go about becoming a wedding planner for WDW. Do they have set requirements (years in the industry, etc)? This is something that I would really love to do after I graduate from college (I'm in my last year right now, so the college program isn't really an option).

CP is still an option- you can still go after you graduate as long as you interview before you graduate.


So apply ASAP- not doing CP is my BIGGEST collegiate regret!

Really?! I didn't know that! I thought you had to still be in school when you do CP. Oh my goodness, you just made my day! *insert hug here*

When they are hiring new Wedding Planners you'll find the job posting at disneycareers.com. It will list the required/desired qualifications. Typically it will mention previous event planning experience as well as the usual organizational skills, guest service, flexible schedule etc. It's not a posting that shows up very often but keep checking!
