Becoming a new member

hi I’m sure this may be asked before but what is the minimum direct purchase that a person can make to become a Dvc member?

Technically the answer to your question is 25 points (if you can find it on the resale market), but the answer to what you probably have in mind though is 75 points purchased directly from Disney. Many resorts have a 100 point minimum purchase for non-members if you're buying direct through Disney.

Direct is 75 points, unless you are already a member, resale what ever someone is selling.

Link below has the current pricing and minimum point purchase requirements for new members. HOWEVER, sometimes they are not so strict on the minimum - never hurts to ask. If you consider one of the 50 minimums, realize you now need 75 direct for member benefits.
