Because I'm the Boss Of You That's Why! Last day, HOP ONBOARD!!! Updated 12/11

What you ask? The Goddess of all Disney drinks! The Grey Goose frozen lemonade drinkie. It was a hard choice between the lemon and the orange one, I bounced it around in my brain for a good 5 minutes while we were in line. I swear, I panic  when I see a drink list in front of me….

I ended up choosing the lemon and good thing I did. We saw Pierre a couple of minutes later and he got the orange. See, we are PERFECT for each other! Until we started in on who’s was better. We went into one of the stores in France and saw the cutest wine shirts. I wish I wrote down the sayings, actually I wish I bought one but, oh well! Me and Ecogirl decided to share a wine flight.

IMG_0808.jpg

Mmmmmm, wine! Me loves it! I am having a Pampered Chef party tonight and am currently taste testing the drinks I bought for it, wine included! Yummers!!! The 2 ½ Musketeers, LOL!

IMG_0809.jpg

Grey Goose Slushie.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....aren't you the one that turned me on to these? I think you are....

IMG_0811.jpg

Bella, on the other hand, really takes her heritage in style

IMG_0812.jpg

These are GREAT pix....

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x152/leyla625/IMG_0858.jpg[/IMG]

My smile was huge, how could it not be? We ran up the plank

IMG_0859.jpg

and they asked our name to announce our arrival. How cool is that?! We were given directions to our room- 7001

IMG_0860.jpg

Of course the kids were completely out of their minds with excitement  and inspecting each and every little thing. Mostly the life vests which were deemed the greatest thing ever. Pierre looks happy!

IMG_0861.jpg

I got a few things put away and we decided to go up to the Sailaway Party- no WAY was I missing that! Or my first Bahama Mama. We met our room attendant on our way upstairs, nice guy.We got up to the 9th floor, grabbed some streamers and made sure we were at the front of the ropes. Pierre went off to get our drinks and the kids bounced all over the place.

One last picture before I sign off. Do they look psyched or what!

IMG_0862.jpg

I'm hoping you liked the cruise...FYI I was in 7003 my last DCL cruise!!!!!!!!

Day 5 DCL Bahama Baby!

Shocking as it may be I was the first to wake up. I slept GREAT, the mattress was completely comfortable just like the one in AKL. I have a Tempurpedic mattress at home and Pierre and I both hate it. It causes a lot of our back pain. I wanted to check out the gym since the pics I’ve seen of the fitness center looked really good, coffee was in order as well. I put my gear on and left the room, heading up to the drink machines near Beach Blanket Buffet. Again, the ship employees were out there scrubbing and painting away!

Check out this gorgeous sunrise picture :goodvibes

IMG_0878.jpg

Isn’t that beautiful? I could stare at it forever. This next shot is a bit cloudy but still looks lovely

IMG_0876.jpg

Don't these pix make you want to go back...:cloud9:

Here’s Pdog and the Plantar’s Punch

IMG_0883.jpg

Look at that sky???!!! Do NOT tell me you don’t want to be there cause I know you are lying is that’s what you say! I didn’t have my suit on but he did so he went for a quick dip in the hot tub, we were the only ones around. I guess everyone else was still sleeping in. If *I* was in their room that wouldn’t be the case. I am WAY too much of an early bird but it has it’s advantages!

IMG_0885.jpg

I'm seeing lots of pix with drinks in your hands.........:) :thumbsup2

Bella started to elbow me in the ribs about this guy. JORDAN!!!!!!! HEADS UP!!!!!!

IMG_0899.jpg

I’m sorry but is he kidding? For real? Nu-uh. This does not happen in real life. Does it? I can’t get over the fact that someone went out in public dressed like this. We just about busted a gut giggling over it before we got to the Goofy Pool.

WHAT is he wearing!!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Classic Peep pix for sure...

Beware more drinks pix coming.......oh here they are...

IMG_0910.jpg

Cheers from Senorita Froggie! And her ‘Tiffany’ necklace

IMG_0911.jpg

Who, me?

IMG_0913.jpg

IMG_0918-1.jpg

My little pirate, I swear he’s the cutest thing eva! Well, to me is…..

IMG_0917.jpg

“Walk the plank maties! Arrggghhh!”

IMG_0916.jpg

Nice choppers, Bella

IMG_0922.jpg

This one is with our room steward, he was SO nice!

IMG_0923.jpg

Off to AP! Folks, this is all I can tonight and I’ll see if I can another update this weekend but I ain’t promisin’ nuttin! I probably will though cause I love working on it! So, do you think I’ll like our tablemates any better tonight? Or the food? Pirate pirate: Party? Hmmm, stick around and you’ll see….

I love these pix. L, you did such a great job!!!!!!!

The Best Place on Earth :cloud9:

As I’m sure you’ve figured out in my routine, I woke up early and ambled on over to the gym. On my way up I grabbed a coffee on deck and quickly took in the view before going down, it was still a bit on the dark side so I had some time before I could take pictures. When I got to the fitness center I jumped on an elliptical in the second row and one of the trainers asked if the view wasn’t good enough for me. Um, not when the blinds are drawn, nutjob. He told me to get on a closer machine so I could have a front row seat and pressed a button. The blinds lifted and WOW! Just beautiful, I tell ya :thumbsup2 nothing beats sweating your butt off staring out at the big, blue sea, tunes crankin’ on the Ipod :music: Jealous yet? You will be!

When I was done I wiped off the machine (you should always do this. I noticed a lot of people don’t) and headed up to the deck. I wanted to be where the action was popcorn:: and get some great pictures. There were a handful of other revelers up there staring off into the sea. How ‘bout these shots?!

IMG_0952.jpg

IMG_0953.jpg

That second one is just so stunning. Stunning, Stunning (as Scot Haney would say. Our weatherman. He’s hysterical) Castaway Cay is the land you see in the distance. I could feel myself getting choked up as I could see it coming in closer. I’d been dreaming of this place for 18 months and I put off my cruise last year because of free dining. It’s a good thing I did though, since I heard the day they went to CC the previous year was a total washout. We had some bright blue skies and a beautiful day ahead! YAY!!!!

I thought this was a really pretty shot of the Mickey Head flag waving in the warm Caribbean breeze.

IMG_0954.jpg

I had the biggest smile on my face as I headed down the stairs to jump on Pierre and the kids and get them going. I be a hungry girl and we had busy plans all day. Like relaxing. We gathered up the things we needed and headed over to BBB, they had the bomb breakfast the day before so I was looking forward to it again.. Let me tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. But then again, whipcream does that to me…. JO- did I ever tell you how much I love a proper cream tea??? HEAVEN!!! We were among some of the first people off, woohoo! Pierre and Bella were parasailing at 9 am. I was SO nervous for her but she was ecstatic. I mean, my knees were knocking against each other, that’s how bad I was!!!! Then of course Pierre had to sign their lives away, not making me feel better…. I gave them both a hug and kiss and told them a thousand times to take pics with the disposable waterproof camera I had gotten for their experience. Cooper and I headed down to the beach after promising to keep an eye out for them.

Filet of Cooper anyone? He’s a delicious catch!

IMG_0955.jpg

Of course THIS is a very famous boat, no intro needed! It was very cool to see it in real life.

IMG_0956.jpg

Heaven, I’m in Heaven…… there’s my little man under the Castaway Cay sign

IMG_0957.jpg

We walked down to the beach area, stopping at the store first, of course. I decided on buying the sand set with the Castaway Cay logo on it rather than the other ones. If I was going to spend $17 or whatever outrageous price on it, it better be original and not something anyone can buy at the Disney Store darnit. I also passed by the same Peep dressed in another equally embarrassing Speedo. Oh my goodness, :headache: some people!

We found some fabu loungers on the Family Beach :beach: and parked it. I just took it all in and my face nearly split in two from smiling. Of course Cooper was already in the water and begging my to go in with him so I did. It was slightly chilly but the sun was warm so it felt good, plus it was early so I knew it would heat up a bit more. There were a lot of tiny fish in the water so Cooper had a lot of fun chasing them and trying to catch them. Doesn’t the water look gorgeous!

IMG_0958.jpg

We played for a while then I wanted to have a walk over to the rental area where I told Pierre to meet me (I actually thought THAT was the Family Beach) I didn’t know what time it was nor did I know how long they would be parasailing so we asked the staff but they had no idea. We wandered a bit but Cooper was desperate to get back in the water so we went back to the FB after I got these shots. Someone is parasailing in this pic but I’ll never know if it was Bella and Pierre. I’ll just assume it is!

IMG_0959.jpg

IMG_0960.jpg

Cooper had a blast playing with his new sand set.

IMG_0961.jpg

I had a blast drinking my drink! Geez, that looks SO good!!!!!

IMG_0962.jpg

We just relaxed but after nearly 2 hours I wanted to have another look for them. We hit the pavement and I spotted some wagons. Mr. Youknowwho made a beeline and jumped his bootie right in so I pulled him along. Whatever keeps him happy and quiet I guess! I decided to walk over to the pavillion and we saw Minnie Mouse ::MinnieMo on the way! I didn’t have my camera but we still stopped for a picture with her. Cooper just looks at the characters in total awe, so cute! After a hug we bid her farewell and went over to where I left Pierre and Bella and I finally saw them coming towards me. THEY ABSOLUTLEY ADORED IT :teeth: Both of them were on cloud 9 so I was thrilled for them, I swear I nearly felt like I took the ride, I was so excited to hear all about it! They were walking with a mom and her daughter who was a bit older than Bella. They were doing a mother/daughter trip and were from California. The woman was super friendly and chatty and even though we only spoke on the walk back I liked her!

I led the way back to the family beach and we plopped down. Both kids jumped right into the water and had a blast paddling and splashing around. What a paradise!

IMG_0963.jpg

Of course when they got out they had to fight over the sand toys. Grrrrrrr. We decided to go for a walk along the beach towards the wooden structure in the water that you can jump off of. Someone saw a large crab in the water and picked it up to discover it was dead so the kids actually got close. They thought it was AWESOME! Pierre stayed in the shallow area with the Coopman while Bella and I swam out to the dock. We had a lot of fun jumping off and some other kids were trying to go across holding onto the ropes. That is WAY too hard for me! I have never been able to get a hang monkey bars. We swam back and Bella was getting tired, she had to hang onto me so that definetly wasn’t easy! When we got to Pierre and Cooper we wanted to try out the paddleboats so we chatted about that for a few. Cooper was NOT into that, no ways,:snooty: uh uh, notachance! He wanted into the kids club PRONTO. Um, okay, don’t have to twist my arm! We found out his age group was eating lunch so we dropped him off and he was very happy. Kisses goodbye and we were off to rent a boat!

My scanner isn't working right now but will post again soon, enjoy!!!!!!

I love everything about this post because it's about my favorite place.....

We got to the rental area and Mr. Chipper De Dipper :dancer: himself was working there. Except he wasn’t so chipper today. He was busy blowing into a snot-rag and didn’t even look at us while he took out card for charging purposes. I guess that his fiercely “on” attitude was saved for the stage! I gave our ticket to the girl and they pushed a paddleboat out for us. Bella and Pierre worked away while I basked in the sunshine. Hey, they wanted to! We went by the Flying Dutchman and got some really good shots of both boats, how cool! It’s roped off so you can’t go all the way up to them. Kind of a bummer but I can totally see why. I couldn’t get over how clear the water was, it was just so amazing. Bella wanted to jump in the water so we told her to go ahead and she swam about for a bit. Until she saw what she thought was a starfish. Did you know there are killer starfish :scared1: in the sea. According to Bella. We LOST it laughing at her trying to get back on the paddle boat, you woulda thought it was Jaws they way she was acting!!!!! OMG, SO funny :rotfl2: Starfish move about an inch an hour or something like that, ahhhhhhh, ya had to be there but it really was a trip! I felt bad for her though because she scraped her hip trying to get on. After that we paddled back, they made me work this time.

LUNCHTIME!!!! We ate at Cookie’s BBQ and while I wasn’t very hungry it was still quite good. We had the usual stuff like chicken, corn, mahi-mahi sandwich. I used to have mahi-mahi all the time when I lived in Hawaii so it brought back memories! LOTS of fresh fruit, I swear DCL has the best! We also ran into our tablemates on a bathroom trip, they had only JUST gotten off the boat, what a waste I tell ya! I wanted to thoroughly enjoy a full day AT Castaway Cay, not in my room!

Pierre and I wanted to go to the adults only beach so Bella agreed to go to the club. Good girl! Her age group was over in the game room so we walked, what a hike! We signed her in a told her we’d only be an hour or so so she was good with it. The counselor told us what direction to go for Serenity Bay and we were off. Um, that’s a bit of a hike. Luckily we thought to hitch and someone riding a golf cart stopped for us. Woohoo! She worked on the island and took us over.

Here I am with some Island debris behind me. Drink in hand, of course.

IMG_0964.jpg

We found the bar and saw Rose, who had made us a couple of drinks before. Menu time…. I ended up getting a Lemon Drop martini and I did NOT like it, ughhh, gross. I put some of Pierre’s drink in so I could choke it down. He had a Planter’s Punch which was drink of the day. After a few giggles with Rose we walked down to the beach and pulled some chairs into the water. It was really a pretty light crowd, everyone must have been on the family beach. Fine with me! I looked out over the water and saw this rain cloud, how cool is this pic?!

IMG_0965.jpg

I used to see them in Hawaii a lot but I had never taken a pic. Pierre didn’t believe me that it was an actual rain cloud until he overheard other people talking about it. Doesn’t he know yet that *I* know EVERYTHING. And I’m The Boss :snooty: ….. Ahhh, look at the sky

IMG_0966.jpg

We never had a honeymoon and the next day was our 9 year anniversary so I was just soaking up everything about this vacation and really enjoying it!

IMG_0967.jpg

IMG_0968.jpg

There were several older women on the beach chatting away to each other and they offered to take out picture, so sweet of them!

IMG_0969.jpg

IMG_0970.jpg

IMG_0971.jpg

We stayed in the water for a while, just bs’ing with each other, I love him! He’s my best friend as well as my husband and I love how we can sit and talk like a couple of girlfriends gossiping :chat: Everyone who knows him IRL gets that sense from him! Anyways, when we were in the water I overheard some people talking and 1 guy mentioned the Dis! HELLO- my ears perked up on end and I told Pierre to shut up. Nicely though. Maybe. When the guy got out of the water I told him I was a Diser and that my screen name is Pierresgirl. I think he said he was Goofydude or something along those lines- of you are reading HI! But I don’t think he is….. I may post my report in the cruise section.

We decided to head back over and get the kids because the kids clubs closed around 2:30 and we had our spa treatment coming up, YAY!!!!!! We jumped on the trolley to the kids beach and went to get Cooper first. Okay, do NOT tell me this kid didn’t have fun. COVERED head to toe in sand

IMG_0972.jpg

IMG_0975.jpg

He had such a blast digging and of course made some friends so I was glad we dropped him off when we did. We got Bella during her whale dig

IMG_0973.jpg

IMG_0974.jpg

Doesn’t that look neat?! She had fun too but is a little more reserved than my Coops. Back to the boat , I had me a spa treatment coming up and I wasn’t about to be late!!!!!!!

IMG_0976.jpg

We stopped at the post office on the way to mail a post card to Lauryn and Dominic as well as Memere and Pepere so they could have the Castaway Cay stamp on it. What a poser

IMG_0978.jpg

We stopped for a quickie dip in the pool

IMG_0979.jpg

then off to the room for a rinse off in the shower before returning the kids to the clubs. I’m gonna get you!

IMG_0980.jpg

Freshened up and ready to go!

IMG_0982.jpg

Pierre checked them in at the clubs while I went down to the spa to let them know we were there. I took this pic of the fitness area while I waited.

IMG_0983.jpg

I noticed a sign up on the front desk advertising a special for a mini facial-mini massage-mini foot and hand treatment for only $125. Um, okay, they totally snapped my arm off trying to get me to do that one! I added it to my Exotic Rasul and got Pierre a 50 minute massage. I thought it would be a good anniversary pressie for us! I felt like I waited FOREVER for him to show up but I was able to change into my robe and get cozy before the treatment. I told the girl on the front desk it was our anniversary and she got us complimentary glasses of champers! Yeah baby! :thumbsup2

Well, friends that’s it for now! Stay tuned for the Exotic Rasul details (well, not all….) and our last night on The Wonder!

LOVE every detail!!! Love Serenity Bay and the no kids!

SPA.......!!!!!

Report starting again. S’bout time you say? Me too! The front desk girl said I could leave the kid pager with her for safekeeping so I did. BUT I better not be interrupted!

Pierre finally came in from dumping, I mean dropping off, our chilin’s and since I was all cozy, toasty and warm in my nice Vista Spa robe he needed to get changed up as well. Our lovely British attendant, I believe her name was Julie, led him off to the men’s locker room so he could do so and I met him outside our Rasul Room. She took us in there and showed us the scrubs, muds, masks, etc. and how to use them. Uh, okay…. :smooth:

The room was VERY cool looking, although smaller than I thought it would be, so Turkish bathy and quite steamy. There was a center pillar with washing up stations, a tiled bench, a shower with several shower heads from the ceiling as well as the walls.

Awww, how lovey

IMG_0986.jpg

She took a shot of us before leaving

IMG_0985.jpg

Now, in case you don’t know this is a couples treatment lasting 50 mins and YES, you do get the courtesy knock. Which is needed :rolleyes1 ….. For obvious reasons this is the only shot I can show but needless to say it’s well worth the $80

IMG_0993.jpg

As I mentioned before we never took a honeymoon in our 9 years of marriage OR done anything without our kids (I cherish my little loves and would miss them too much) so this time with just Pierre was very precious to us both! We used up every ounce of products left for us and had a blast. If you are considering this treatment I insist that you DO IT!!!!!!!

After Julie knocked on the door we rinsed off and rerobed. We took a seat outside the door and she brought us some water to rehydrate and recoupe

IMG_1003.jpg

IMG_1004.jpg

One of our massage therapists offered to take our pic and told us to let him know when we were ready for our massage treatments. Did I mention that we would be in the same room at the same time for those? So cool!

IMG_1006.jpg

He then let us know we had a bit of time and let us go into the Rainforest Room for a little relax before getting’ the ole rubdown. Plus they wanted to give us some champers. K by moi!!!! The Rainforest Room was quite pretty, I loved the tiled chaise lounges, the details on the walls, just everything! :cloud9:

IMG_1007.jpg

034-1.jpg

There were only about 4 other people in there enjoying the atmosphere, if I remember right there was a lovely eucalyptus smell in the air. Julie brought us our drinks and congratulated us on our anniversary. Cheers!

IMG_1009.jpg

IMG_1008.jpg

The other people in there left so I made my move to the chaise lounger.

IMG_1010.jpg

Pierre’s massage therapist, who was quite handsome BTW, came to see if we were ready so we downed our drinks and followed him to our treatment room. I cannot recall either therapists names but again they were wonderful and took a picture of us before starting out

IMG_1011.jpg

The woman who did my treatment was a young Asian woman who did a FABU job. She hit all the right spots for my massage and did a lovely mini facial. Geez I wish I was there now…… I don’t get spoiled much but felt like I was right in the lap of luxury. I also got my foot rub (good thing I got a proper pedi the day before we went away!) and hand massage. Pierre had a super massage too and went for the sports rubdown. Ughhhh, I CANNOT handle anything like that, I’m way too jumpy and would NOT enjoy it! Afterwards we got the major sales pitch. Talk about ruining the moment :sad2: Seriously!!!!! The is one of the reasons I left working at a spa, although I loved what I was doing I hated to push retail. I am NOT in sales, I am there to make my client happy! Thankfully my boss now doesn’t give too much of a hoot.

Here’s a very happy Peeps after his massage

IMG_1015.jpg

I need to mention here that I failed terribly taking notes after this point. Very terribly. As in none. Bummer. So bear with me as I'll just have to go off of pictures.

We reluctantly left and headed back to the room to get tidied up for dinner, of which we missed half of. Me was hungry, big time! We left the kiddos in the kid clubs and headed down to Parrot Cay. Dinner was nearly over but our table mates welcomed us and our server got us the food he could. Of course my big mouth hubby had to brag about the Rasul (but not in too too much detail thankfully!) so I turned 50 shades of red but was all giggly from the champagne so we had a good laugh with them that night. Okay, I really don’t know what the heck kinda face P-dog is making here but I’m posting it anyways

IMG_1016.jpg

Our meal here was very rushed but like I said I had fun with our tablemates. When it was time to leave we went to grab the kiddos and Cooper was in the middle of the Crazy Scientist demo

IMG_1017.jpg

Doesn’t he look sweet with his little white coat lab coat on? Then he informed me that he missed me and was crying earlier. Whoops. He showed me the Flubber they made, very cool! Then he showed me the cap and shirt he got from the Disney Sea University graduation. How freaking cute is this kid??!!!

IMG_1018.jpg

He asked why I didn’t go to it. Um, bad Mom moment but I totally lied  and said I did. Don’t hate!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!! He wanted to see the pictures but I said the camera batteries died. Geez, I’m terrible but don’t judge. We went to get Bella and they were on the upper deck playing some b-ball

IMG_1019.jpg

Cooper shot

IMG_1020.jpg

Here she is

IMG_1021.jpg

Alrighty folks, I’m going to try and upload some more pics and see if I can get another installment going for ya!

I love every picture in this post....I love the spa..and I LOVE the women who do the massages....;)

Okay I'm caught up!!!!

YAY! Glad you got to ge caught up :thumbsup2 and enjoyed it. I do love me them spa treatments. I got the woman and Pierre got a guy (quite good looking IMHO) for his massage. I had never seen pics of the Rasul Room so wanted to make sure I got a bunch of our whole spa experience. Serenity Bay... what I wouldn't give to be there now :cloud9: So funny we have the same skull pic. Of course great minds do think alike. At least silly Disney picture taking minds :rotfl2: Looking at Cooper with the lab coat on reminds me that I booked a Mad Science party for his birthday next week, how cool is that?!

I'm juuuuuuust about done and going to work on the next installment right now, I got 45 minutes before I wake up the kids.

First, a great shot of the L family on our way to DTD. Don't they look happy? :cloud9:

LFamilyontheWaytoDTD.jpg

Ecogirl- I might just have to put this picture onto the cover since I don't have a good one of the 4 of us and I love this shot! Did I tell you Staples can do a book? Call me tonight and 9 my time. I think I'm doing a Bio at 4:30 and she's got long hair so....I'm going to need the time.

First I have a quick brag about the kids which is nothing trip related but I just got their report cards last night. Bella has always been at the top of her class and a great kid but what her teacher said really made me proud

“In 3rd grade, Bella has many friends. She is kind and respectful. When working with other students, she is happy to explain the task to them if they need peer assistance. Bella is a fabulous role model” How awesome is THAT???!!!

Cooper’s was great too, he is the youngest in his 1st grade class (will be 6 next week, our state has Dec 31st for the cut off) He reads chapter books already and is way above grade level for that and problem solving. Caring, shows empathy, respect, great work and listening :listen: habits. NOT so good with the writing but I think that comes with the young age. His reading is unbelievable though, I can’t get away with saying “such and such” is not on TV because he’ll see it on the guide, LOL!

Now back to our show! :happytv:

After the show Cooper and I checked out the shopping/dining area of the Nick Hotel and saw that there was a cute little spa for kids. They did nails, spray-on tattoo’s, etc and I promised him he could get a tattoo later on. The stores have a bunch of cute stuff and he wanted EVERYTHING. Now, I have never found his name (or Bella or Lauryn or Dominic) on anything. They actually had Cooper and Dominic on Spongebob sheriff badges and pins. I HAD to get those, how could I not???!!! I saw a great Patrick T-shirt for Pierre, hopefully I have a picture somewhere, it’s hilarious! Arg, no picture but Patrick is on the front, drooling (as usual) and the caption Brainfreeze is under him. Pierre always gets brainfreeze so how could I not get it??!!! :rotfl2:

Anyways, we walked to the small pool area and I heard Bella, surprise, so we went in there. They have some cool slides too and it’s a lot smaller so the crowd was less.

Time for another ‘cheers mate’ shot

IMG_1064.jpg

We stayed for a while then decided to crash in the room and relax for a bit. We were planning on seeing the Nick At Nite show so we could all use a refresher! We chilled out in there for a couple of hours then showered up and headed over to the lobby for a bite to eat. Pierre was still snoozing so I let him and we took off, Cooper was dying to get the tattoo.

IMG_1066-1.jpg

He was VERY proud of it

IMG_1067.jpg

Bella spotted the pedicure chair and was on top of me about it, begging, the usual “butipromiseiwon’taskforanythingelse” She wanted Timmy Turner painted on her big toe. I think it was like 30 bucks or something outrageous but I was about 3 drinks in on an empty stomach so why not :rolleyes1 :upsidedow Uggghhhh. I’m sure in this pic she was begging as her eyes scanned everything else going on around her. Doesn’t want to miss out on anything, ya know?! This was the kid spa right behind her.

IMG_1069.jpg

Who’s a happy girl then?

IMG_1071.jpg

The girl doing the pedicure was from the same town my sister lives in, how funny is that???!!! She did a great job and was super friendly. I wandered around with Cooper a bit cause he was getting fidgety, although I was too

IMG_1070.jpg

Then we saw this guy, Avatar (I think)

IMG_1072.jpg

Back to Bella. Look at the amazing paint job the girl did!!!!!

IMG_1073.jpg

Unbelievable! I got a picture of the 2 of them

IMG_1074.jpg

Bella LOVED it and it did actually stay on for quite some time.

Here’s the naughty Cosmo on the elevator as we went back to the room

IMG_1075.jpg

Pierre was up and ready to go to the show so off we went again, updownupdownupdown! We waited in line for the show and were led into the theater

IMG_1077.jpg

There were a couple of hosts and they had already picked 2 families to “star” so off they went. They had them do a bunch of silly things and get dressed up, so funny! It was too dark to take a lot of pics but we got a few.

IMG_1078.jpg

Then came the mortification of Bella.

:scared1: Dahdahdahdun!!!!!!!! :scared1:

They asked for volunteers.

And her mother volunteered. As in me :wave2: I swear she slid under that seat and stuck herself to the bottom. I got onstage and had to hit balloons to one of the family members (who totally stank at catching them BTW) holding a basket. It was pretty funny! No lovely parting gifts though. The kids were SO pooped afterwards, I don’t blame them. I’d been getting them up early everyday of our trip to do something that included running around or some kind of exertion most of the day. Once we got to the room they changed straight into the jamsters and laid in the bunk beds. Bella was kind enough to let Coop sleep on the top bunk, shocker!

Pierre and I chatted for a few and realized we hadn’t eaten so I told Bella we were going to run down to the foodcourt and for them to just stay in bed, she was mostly asleep anyways. I went down to the Nick at Night Bar

and ordered some barfood for us and Pierre met me down there about 15 mins later. This food was FANTASTIC! OMG, look at this popcorn::

Nice and spicy with the fruity tang, mmmmmmmmmm! Absomolutely loved it and highly recommend it. I think we split a chicken salad as well and also had a drink. There was a game on but I cannot recall which one. After I was done eating I let Pierre chill at the bar while I went up to the room. The kids were completely asleep and that was next on my list, I was SO tired and ready to hit the sack. BUT I had to pack up some stuff and rearrange things in the suitcases since we were leaving the next day. I was ready to go back home but I hate leaving vacation, such a bummer and there is always the recovery time. We were leaving on a Monday and I had to work Tues 12:30-9:30 but I had W and Th off so I could get things done then. Like laundry. Which takes a couple of days by itself! I did my organizing then hit the bed. Which was not comfortable at all. Thanks goodness I had an Ambien. :cloud9:

Great update!!! That food looks so good!!! I spy pineapple!!!! Yummo!!!!!!!
Congrats Bella and Cooper!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Bella and Cooper on their great reports :thumbsup2

Wow the picture on Bella's toenail is great, pricey but very good!

The show sounds fun and did you not get any photos of you onstage?

BTW I'm off to WDW tomorrow and won't be back till next Wednesday :wave2:

Thanks Scott! no video, sorry, not even a pic. I swear......that Pierre  1 freakin' picture I ask him to take!

Well, things have been busy around here, workwise and familywise. The usual kinda dramz but we are going to get back on track, I'm determined! I've done ALL of my holiday shopping  and Cooper's birthday is on Sat. so I sent him out with Pierre last night to order his cake. Hopefully he told them to have it ready for Sat, I just realized I told him everything else except for that. We are taking just him to Boston on Monday to the Science Museum, Fanueil Hall, Quincy Marketplace, etc. Oh and the Lego Store. I'm excited!

I'm going to work on wrapping up the report later on today so keep an eye out for it! I just want to thank everyone who's ben reading along and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it. Sorry I couldn't keep up with everyone else's report like I wanted to but there really has been alot of "stuff" going on here :sad2: I need to get back in the positive mind frame, ya know?! Off to write :grouphug:

Great news on the kids report cards!! I bet you were BEAMING when you read that. :goodvibes

:yay: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO COOPER!!!!!!! :yay:

I have really enjoyed your entire report. Can't wait to read the last update, but I'm sad it's over.

Remind me, how long did you guys stay at the Nick hotel? We are thinking of doing it for 1 night before the cruise in June. Not sure if only 1 night is worth it or if we should just wait for another time.

That pineapple with shrimp skewers looks SOOOOOO good! :worship: I watched a couple of episodes of Top Chef last night and it was making me so hungry! Kinda like now!

Okay, so when I woke up I did some more reorganizing of the suitcases. :confused3 Anyone else feel like that is sometimes never ending??!! When the rest of the gang woke up we decided to eat and go for a swim before we hit the road. The car rental had to be back by about 11 am and I’m not paying a late fee for that, they already charged me an arm and a leg! Pierre put some suitcases in the car and met us in the food court for some brekkies. We could see Dora, Diego and Boots walking around the character breakfast restaurant so of course Cooper had a spaz :yay: about that. Nope, sorry kid, I gave you a choice of a character room or meal, not both. I told him we would eat in the seats nearest to the entrance though so he could see them.

“I’m good with that!"

"Hey Mom, look up!”

This was a skylight.

We got in line for the buffet and paid. For CRAP-O-LA. Eww, grossness and horribleness  :sad2: , I got the receipt from Pierre and wanted the money back because I was not going to eat anything here. Talk about a major project getting the money back! There must have been about 4 people that came over, all speaking in a different language, shooting me looks, etc. So rude! :snooty: Excuse me for not eating slop! They finally returned the money and I went over to the store and stared at everything for about 15 minutes before I finally got something.

The kids played around on the CyberCafe for a bit. Cool, huh?

IMG_1081.jpg

We dragged them outta there. I needed to make sure we were all checked out and not charged additional fees for anything. I was certainly NOT impressed with ANY of the hotel staff at all. No one looked or smiled at you, we were not asked once if we were enjoying our stay, hardly anyone spoke English. After leaving the :worship: mecca of Disney with their fabulous reputation for customer service this was hard to swallow! Even when we checked out the guy said “Yep, you’re all set. No fees” then he turned around and walked away. Ummmm, okay. Not really what I expected so I did fill out the questionnaire in detail as well as the online survey AND I wrote a letter. Nothing bad happened but I did expect a bit more. Is that wrong? I’m not 100% certain I won’t go back but it would only be for the pool area and all of that.

Here are some pics from the main lobby on the way back to the pool.

IMG_1083.jpg

Bella did not want her picture near anything Spongebob or Patrick so I think Cooper was trying to hold her down!

IMG_1084.jpg

They had these planters all over the property. Cute, huh?

IMG_1085.jpg

We hit the pool one last time. Of course they loved it and had fun!

IMG_1082.jpg

We really had to get back to the room, take showers and get going so off we went. Sadly…..

How adorable is this? We saw Mama duck and her babies. There were also some big turtles and loads of fish in the water.

IMG_1086.jpg

There is an arts and crafts room so we made a quick pit stop and they colored a postcard. There were tons of cool crafts scheduled though out the day and I wish I had noticed this the day before, they probably would have liked to do more.

IMG_1087.jpg

We got back to the room then scurried around getting ready. Luckily I had some plastic bags to put our wet suits in! Time to go……bummer. It was another fabulous vacation for the L family with Ecogirl this time! It’s even better seeing stuff through the eyes of a newbie :magnify: , I find it always gives you much more of an appreciation and you end up noticing stuff you didn't before!

We dropped the car off and jumped on the airport shuttle. When we got to MCO we had some time to kill which is always good cause I LOVE the shops there! Pierre crapped out on one of the couches and I took the kids into the Disney store, NASA, Universal, Crocs, etc. We hit just about all of them and decided to grab a bite to eat at Burger King. The big fish tank in the center was being cleaned so I took one last shot with my camera. My gosh, he was REALLY squeezed in there!

IMG_1088.jpg

Time to go on over to the Southwest gates and grab 1 last drink. Or 2 :rolleyes1 We reminisced about the whole trip and scanned through the pictures in the camera. Heaven! Finally our plane was called and I had to drag myself on it. It was a quick flight home and a nice sunny day in our state when we landed. The car ride seemed to take forever and it felt weird pulling into the driveway. I’m sure others feel like that when they get home, right?

Pierre dragged in the suitcases and I started sorting them out right away. I had to work the next day and wanted to get at least 1 load of laundry going :laundy: Back to real life…….1 more post coming up so keep in touch!
