Since I'm going with little ones I don't need fast passes for any thrill rides so it looks like the only Tier 1 option I'll do is Beauty and the Beast. Is the seating section for fast passes much better than regular seating? How early do I have to get there if I have a FastPass for the show? Thanks

Good FP+ seating.

While you can arrive anytime during the stated FP arrival window,
it would be preferable to get there at least 15 min. before show time.

Toy Story Midway Mania isn't a thrill ride. Are they too little for that one?

No, but it appears to be closed when I am there.. April 8 to 14. I bought the package that allows you to book fastpasses 90 days out and I've been repeatedly told none are available the entire week even though everything else is available

FP+ seating for Beauty and the Beast gets you in the lower middle section of the theater and although I personally don't care to sit there (I tend towards the third row on either side) it's a good place to sit. As for how early to get there, it depends on how close you want to sit to the front. People start lining up at FP+ and standby at least a good 30 minutes in advance so I would say at least that if you're wanting to be close.

When I was making fp selections a few days ago, TSMM was showing no availability for April 8. I called DSS and when the CM checked, TSMM was now showing availability for 4/8 but not 4/9.

Ohhhh that would be great..I'll check on my day 60 next week

Toy story is a much better use of your FP. Star Tours is pretty good with the littles as well.

The only ones I would avoid are Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror.

Fantastic isn't a bad option either, but you may miss the Star Wars show, which may be better.
