Well with 2 weeks to go I thought it was about time to do a PTR! It's my first one so it may not be fab but I'll give it a go :)

The Wheres and Whens: 24th-27th May at the Santa Fe

The Cast: Me - 19 and a Disney nut :) In all fairness I only got massively obsessed at about 15 but once the obsessions got you I don't think it'll ever let go! lol. Been to WDW 3 times and currently planning my next trip for Sept next year for my 21st , but this will be my first time to DLP!
Here is a pic from when Mr Mouse visited my place of work last christmas (I won't specify where I work but I'm sure most of you can work it out! ;))

Dbf - 27. He's slowly starting to realise why I love the Mouse and Pixie Dust as much as I do :) And after I got a severe case of Disney Blues just after Christmas he agreed that we could pop over to DLP (mainly to shut me up I think haha). Anyway, after showing him pics he's started getting massively excited and he now can't wait! It's his first time flying so it'll be interesting but we'll see how it goes!
(will post pic when I've double checked with him I can haha)

The plan! - Day 0 - My mum is going to drive us over to Leeds/Bradford Airport after she finishes work where we'll stay in a Travelodge for the night before flying in the morning!

Day 1- We land at 1.30pm in CDG, after what I'm sure will be an eventful flight with a first time flier (any tips??). I wanted to get the TGV but the times are either 2 (too soon) or 3.45 (too late) so it looks like we'll be catching the VEA over to the Santa Fe! I'm thinking it'll be about 3 by the time we get there, so we'll have a walk over to the parks and start exploring! Planning on Cafe Mickeys for dinner so I can get my character fix :goodvibes

Day 2- Up early and in the park for EMH at 8 :) Dbf is dying to go on Space Mountain so that'll be the first thing we do I imagine followed by Buzz :) We'll take the rest of the day as it comes but I'm hoping to pop over to Studios for Stars and Cars then head back to the Park :) I think tonight we will start our cocktail tasting session, most probably in the Sports Bar!

Day 3- Up for EMH again :) Then to the Studios for opening :) Crush followed by Parachute Drop seems to be the best plan of action :) Then slot in TOT and RnRc around the shows, giving the parade a miss since we hopefully saw it the day before. Head over to the main park for the last hour for one more ride of Pirates (which I'm very excited for!) then dinner at Annettes!

Day 4- EMH again then take the day as it comes, as it'll be our last day :( I'm thinking a buffet for lunch but not sure which one, then aim for the 6.30 VEA back to CDG. (I also intend to spend all remaining euros on lots of souvies this day so no doubt I'll have to head back to the Santa Fe about 5 to try and cram everything in the suitcase :rotfl2:) We fly back to Newcastle this time where my Mum will hopefully be waiting for us :)

Any tips?? I'm very nervous about keeping Dbf calm on his flights as he's very worried about it all :scared1:
Hope you enjoyed reading though :)

Ps - My favourite character on my namebadge at work is Belle, hense the title ;)

Ok im clueless, dunno where you work!!

Great PTR, you will have a blast!!
Sequoia Lodge have some scrummy cocktails and we really loved the cocktails in the Cheyenne!

You could stow your luggage in the lockers in the train station (€7.50 and it takes 2 big suitcase but two stuffed carry on bags!) and get the TGV back to CDG giving you more DLP time! We found this really handy.

Is your DBF anxious about flying? Now im never one to advocate medication :rolleyes1 but valium is my friend for panic attacks due to flying!

You'll get so much done in EMH, we tended to spend afternoons looking at all the great detailing and theming around the parks, its a nice excuse to rest tired legs!

Annettes is the tasty burger place IMO!! Try the milkshakes if you can manage! We always say we'll try dessert but get too full :goodvibes

I'm very tempted by the TGV back but just nervous about navigating the airport, I need to be in 2B for the return flight and from what I've read its not walkable :confused3 Is there any advantage to booking my tickets at home for this? I think I'd like to play it by ear and see how brave we were feeling lol.
Also, on the VEA do you buy a return or a single each way? Just to help me budget :)
I'm thinking Valium will be the way to go! Either that or try and distract him?? I think we'll be fine when we're up in the air, it's just the waiting-to-board bit that he'll struggle with I think

Are you flying into Terminal 1?? We did and between collecting bags and catching the CDGval to Terminal 2 for the TGV we had LOADS of time to spare. Very easy to navigate too. We'd given ourselves 1hr 20mins to get bags and get to T2 and it only took about 20mins but we did walk at a fast pace. The CDGval connects the three terminals and is a light rail train. Very doable.

If the times too tight for your arriving flight go with VEA but if you can I would be inclined to get the TGV back to CDG. Its just so handy.
