Beauty and the Beast On stage WWYD?

We are going to an evening performance of Beauty and the Beast and my DD wanted to wear her Belle costume. DH thinks it is alright but I just don't know. It is not like we are in WDW to see it. I just think that it is more appropriate to dress that way at the parks but not at a theatre in Philadelphia.


What is your opinion? Thanks!

I would let her, but I let my DD wear hers whenever she wants to. I feel like she is only a little girl once and pretty soon the princess dresses won't fit anymore. Have fun!

Both times I saw it (in DC & Richmond), there were lots of girls in Belle costumes.

Let her wear the dress ~ for sure!!!! My dd saw beauty and the beast on broadway with her aunt and uncle and LOVED it!!!! Have fun!

I don't see any harm in letting her wear. Afterall she is a little girl and she no doubt loves Belle.

When we saw it in Philadelphia about 2 years ago there were TONS and TONS of little girls in their Belle dress. I think that makes it that much more special for them. Have fun!

I say absolutely let her wear it! We are going next weekend, it would put a huge smile on my face to see little girls showing up in their Belle dresses! I wish my little girls were still little enough to do it!

We saw it this past summer and my DD (5) wore her Belle costume-almost all the little girls we saw there had them on too!

Let her wear it. We went to see it a few years ago and DD (then 4) wore her Snow White costume. We decided not to fight it, as there would be other girls wearing Belle's dress. She had a blast and she received compliments from others that it was nice to see the other princesses "being supportive". Have fun!
