'Beauty and the Beast'-Inspired Red Rose Taverne

I'd been hearing about the Red Rose Taverne that is going in at the Village Haus Restaurant, but I just saw a blog post and the food selections look pretty darn good!

I especially want to try the "Grey Stuff," but the Enchanted Cauliflower Sandwich and the Chicken Sandwich à la Lumìere also look pretty awesome!

Beauty and the Beast is one of my very favourite Disney movies. I'm guessing it will still be there in mid-March given all the work put into transforming the venue and menu. The Disney blog didn't have an end date when I checked earlier today. A lot of it sounds yummy, except for the poutine-inspired dishes. I'm a traditionalist and prefer it as just fries, gravy and cheese curd.

Hmm, I wonder if that means the cake will be mixed in with the mousse. I'm allergic to red dye, so can't eat red velvet cake. It looks tasty though!
